Chapter 207: Third (2)
“…Master.”
“Yes?”
Silver Blaze stared at Adler with a hollow, vacant gaze. The intense heat and desire that had built up while she was unconscious surged forth all at once, overwhelming her senses.
“Why… are you here?”
With the last vestiges of patience and will she could muster, she squeezed out the question as rationally as possible. He only smiled in return, his eyes curving into gentle crescents.
“I came to see you.”
“…Ah.”
Adler whispered softly, leaning his head closer.
“Go. Please, just go.”
“…Huh?”
“Get away… from me. Master.”
That slight movement from Adler caused Blaze to momentarily lose her grip on her fading rationality. She squeezed her eyes shut, desperately trying to hold onto her sanity.
“Why?”
“I… I am now a target of the KKK. I don’t know when or where I’ll be threatened, and I don’t want to be a burden to you any longer.”
Adler suppressed a chuckle and caressed her ears at her reply.
Thump, thump, thump, thump…
“I told you… to stay away, didn’t I…?”
“I don’t want to.”
“Uh… If you keep this up… you’ll be in danger too. So, please…”
His playful expression made Blaze’s body twitch uncontrollably as she desperately tried to stop him from coming any closer.
“…I took care of the KKK.”
“What?”
The unbelievable news froze her in her tracks.
“Did you think I would leave an organization that targeted my subordinate alone?”
“But… the KKK is a massive secret organization, isn’t it?”
“…Yes, they did have considerable influence and structure.”
After a moment of stunned silence, she murmured in a trembling voice. Adler gave her a nonchalant reply.
“The ordinary members number in the tens of thousands, and I believe there were over a hundred at the executive level.”
“Yes, exactly! Those people won’t go down without a fight—”
“…So I killed them all.”
At those chilling words, Silver Blaze’s eyes widened in shock.
“Those executives should be fish food by now. It’s only a matter of time before the remaining members are arrested as well.”
“Ah…”
“So, don’t worry.”
Shifting his gaze to face her directly, Adler took both of Blaze’s hands firmly in his own.
“As long as you are my subordinate, no danger will ever reach you.”
“………”
“And that’s why I have to ask…”
Adler glanced at her still-vacant face and whispered softly.
“…You’ll continue to stay by my side, right?”
At that very moment, the last thread of Silver Blaze’s rationality snapped.
“Blaze?”
Oblivious to the change, Adler sat quietly on her bed and tilted his head at her.
Swoosh…
“What are you doing?”
Silently, she reached out and grabbed both of his arms. Adler asked her with a confused smile.
“Master.”
“…Huh?”
But just a few seconds later—
Squeak!
“…What the—?”
Adler found himself pinned beneath Silver Blaze as she abruptly shoved him down with tremendous force.
“Um… Blaze.”
“……..”
“Don’t you think you’re taking the joke a bit too far…?”
Still not fully grasping the situation, Adler whispered to Blaze as she rubbed herself against him, a naive smile still on his face.
“Mastermastermastermastermaster……”
“…Ah.”
But Blaze was already out of her mind, her body and soul consumed by the heat that had enveloped every nook and cranny of her being. Looking down at Adler as he gasped for breath, she only tightened her grip, her teeth grinding together.
“C-Could it be… are you in heat?”
Mastersmellsgoodmastersmellsgoodmastersmellsgoodmastersmellsgood…
“Yeah, it seems so…?”
Finally, Adler realized his adorable maid’s current feral condition. A look of regret twisted his face as he began to struggle against her hold.
Squeak!
“…How is she so strong?”
However, Adler—whose physical strength couldn't even compare to an average woman’s—found it impossible to overcome the strength of a demi-human determined to claim him.
“Haaaah, haah… haaaaaah…”
“Uh, ugh…”
Realizing his predicament, Adler’s body went limp as he broke out in a cold sweat. Blaze, as if waiting for that exact moment, buried her head into the crook of his neck and began sniffing him aggressively.
Swish, swish…
“IlikeyouIlikeyouIlikeyouuuu…”
She continued to rub her body against Adler, trying her hardest to drench him in her scent. Soon, she began nuzzling his ear, a debauched look in her eyes.
“Haaaah…”
“S-S-Stop…”
As she nibbled and fumbled with his ear, Adler spoke again, his voice trembling.
“Y-You… You weren’t like this before, right?”
“……..”
“You used to listen so well… like a good, obedient child…”
Hearing him, Blaze momentarily paused and pulled her head back, a string of saliva dripping from her jaw.
“Yeah, that’s right. Well done…”
Slurp.
“Let’s think rationally, okay…?”
Wiping her mouth with her sleeve, she continued to gaze blankly down at her master, who remained pinned beneath her.
Squeak…
“Uh?”
In the next moment, she wordlessly smothered Adler’s body with her own.
“Th-This… it hurts…”
With a pained expression, Adler squeezed the words out between gasps.
“It hurts, so… if you could stop… that would be… ah, haaa…”
“…Haaaah, Master.”
Blaze, who had been quietly taking in the scene, began to shiver as chills raced through her body. Shuddering, she whispered in a voice thick with heat.
“Please, just shut up…”
“…Wh-What?”
“Every word you say right now is driving me crazy… Please, just stop talking…”
Adler was immediately taken aback by the harsh words. The tone was something he never expected from the gentle Blaze, and his eyes widened in shock.
“You… what are you saying…”
“No, it’s all your fault from the start! It’s because everything about you is so damn alluring…!!!”
Her face tinged with guilt, Silver looked down at him and finally unleashed the desires she had been suppressing.
“With someone like you…! Having my life saved by you not once, but twice…! When you hold my hands firmly and ask in that gentle voice if I’ll stay by your side…! There isn’t a woman in all of London who wouldn’t feel a stirring deep in her belly after hearing that, damn it…!!!”
“Ugh, Hah, Heugh…”
“You’re completely unaware, aren’t you!? It’s your damn fault! You spread your sweet scent everywhere without even knowing it, and then you make that utterly clueless face like a naive child…!!!”
Aggressively, she pushed herself against Adler’s crotch, grinding against him in a fit of desperation.
“Now… I can’t hold back anymore…!”
Kkukkuk…♥︎
“I love you. I love you! I love you, my Master!!!!”
Yet, no matter what she did, it felt insufficient; the heat only grew worse. Her body trembling from head to toe, Blaze violently tore the buttons off his trousers in a fit of lunacy. All sanity had abandoned her in the throes of her heat.
“That’s why…!”
Snap!
“That’s why…”
Suddenly, a crisp sound filled the room. Blaze’s eyes, glowing golden with endless affection, slowly began to flutter shut.
“Please… consume me… whole, I beg…”
Thud!
Before she could finish her sentence, Blaze slumped weakly over Adler’s body.
“…That was close.”
“Ah…?”
Stunned, Adler was startled by the familiar voice. He lifted his head toward the sound.
“I don’t mean to sound prejudiced, but I wouldn’t recommend being in a closed space with a beastkin in heat.”
“Inspector Lestrade!”
“Especially not someone like you, Isaac Adler.”
Adler, overjoyed to see the ever-reliable inspector, shouted in relief. Inspector Lestrade, who had just knocked Silver Blaze unconscious, added as she slipped on a white glove:
“…Let her rest a bit more. We should head out.”
“Eh?”
“I have something important to discuss with you.”
For a fleeting moment, it almost seemed as if her eyes bore a faint resemblance to Silver Blaze’s golden orbs from moments ago.
“…What is it?”
Adler, his mind still scattered from nearly being ravished by his subordinate, failed to notice the resemblance. Obediently, he followed behind the inspector, his savior.

Having been saved from a dire fate by the inspector’s intervention during the hospital visit, I spent the rest of my day by her side.
Although we were only a couple for show, we still needed to deceive the public every now and then. Not to mention, the inspector had requested my company, and I was glad to follow along.
Well, it wasn’t as if we did anything grand.
We simply linked arms and visited cafes, watched plays, shopped for dresses that I thought suited her perfectly, and strolled through the parks. Before we knew it, the sun had dipped below the horizon, enveloping the world in a blanket of darkness.
“Excuse me, Inspector.”
“……..”
“Thank you for saving me this morning.”
As we sat on a park bench, our arms still linked, I recalled the morning’s events.
“But please don’t misunderstand. Blaze is really a good girl; it was just the mating season’s fault. You know it’s instinctual for the beastkin…”
“…I wonder if it’s really just because of the mating season.”
She responded with a stoic expression, turning her head away.
“If linking arms is too much, you don’t have to do it since no one is watching. You must have had a hard day playing pretend for so long.”
“I like it, so it’s fine.”
“Uh… O-Okay then.”
Her eyes, unlike a few days ago, were once again pure white—her natural color.
…I must have seen it wrong back then.
I didn’t really understand why she acted that way when I pretended to have lost my memory, but it was easy enough to tell that she didn’t like me one bit.
That’s a relief…
Thinking about my plans for the future, I felt relieved by that knowledge. Yet, strangely, the thought also brought a lingering pang to my heart.
“What was it that you wanted to say, then?”
“……?”
“…You said you had something important to tell me this morning?”
A troubled smile played on my lips as I thought about it. I decided to change the subject and brought up what she had mentioned earlier.
“It’s nothing big, but I would like to make a suggestion regarding our marital status.”
“…What is it?”
The calm reply she gave me stunned me into silence.
“Let’s have a baby.”
“Excuse me?”
“A baby. Between you and me.”
And then, an eerie silence fell between us, seemingly stretching into eternity.
