Out of the Cocoon
The final step, the last preparation—crunch! With a sickening sound, one of the tourists foamed at the mouth. His arm bent at an angle that made the bone jut out, and he collapsed unconscious on the spot. His companion had already been felled by Yuria’s high kick, jaw twisted grotesquely to the side. It took her less than five seconds to deal with both of them.
A handful of people in the alley screamed. A few righteous souls tried to call the police, but they were swallowed whole by monsters that materialized silently in the air. Yuria never saw it—she was too busy trembling as she stared at the blood dripping from her own hands and the broken arm of the fallen tourist.
I approached her and asked, “Feel good?”
Startled, she shook her head. “I… I’m not sure yet…”
“Let’s get out before you get blood on your shoes.”
“Shouldn’t we take them to a hospital…?”
“They crawled up here without knowing their place. You think we owe them that much? They’re not dead—that’s good enough.”
“It feels… strange. Like… this isn’t really me…”
Yuria looked lost. Then a bitter smile crossed her face, as if something she had been holding back had finally settled. I seized the moment.
“You finally let out everything you’ve been bottling up. That’s why you’re feeling this rush. This is the real you. You’ve broken out of that stifling cocoon. Congratulations.”
“Th-thank you…”
Still dazed, she offered her thanks. I gave the two unconscious men a light kick to the head. Their heads lolled limply. Yuria’s body shuddered, and a faint smile appeared on her lips. She liked what I had done.
“Shall we go?”
Smiling contentedly, I held out my hand. Yuria licked her lips, took it, and wrapped her other arm around mine as we left the alley. She never noticed how unnaturally quiet the nearby shops had become.
She nearly crippled one of them… Quite satisfying. A shame I didn’t get to gouge out eyes or tear off limbs, but that will come soon enough. Yuria wouldn’t feel a shred of guilt. After all, she had only beaten people she considered evil.
“Hah… hah…”
As we walked calmly down the street, Yuria’s ragged breathing reached my ears. She was deeply aroused.
“Jihyeok… I want to go back. I want to go home…”
“Choose one of two options. One: go home. The other: find more trash like before and ‘save’ them.”
“I…”
Her grip on my arm tightened. Both choices seemed acceptable to her. After a brief hesitation, she answered.
“I want to go home. Hold me…”
She wanted somewhere quiet to sort through her feelings rather than this chaotic atmosphere.
“All right. Let’s do that.”
I pulled her into my arms and pressed a lingering kiss to her forehead.
The bedroom lights were dimmed. The moment we returned, Yuria had been breathing hard, unable to calm down. Her first true taste of violence would not be forgotten easily. As I gently caressed her body, I asked, “You okay?”
“Jihyeok… I feel so good. I didn’t realize it earlier, but now I’m sure… This is the real me, isn’t it?”
“I told you. From now on, don’t stupidly hold back when someone irritates you. No one on this planet can control you. I’ll clean up everything afterward.”
“Aah…♡”
Yuria clutched her own breasts tightly, expressing her excitement—then suddenly flinched and denied it.
“N-no, that’s not right!”
“What isn’t?”
“You can control me, Jihyeok.”
I grinned at her clever answer. “Of course. I just excluded myself because I’m not human.”
“…Huh?”
Yuria tilted her head, confused. I watched in silence as she mulled over my words.
“Not human…?”
She repeated it to herself, then clapped her hands. “Ah! You just don’t want to be lumped together with those kinds of humans, right? That’s it!”
It wasn’t quite the conclusion I wanted, but it wasn’t bad either—especially since she still didn’t know I was the Demon King. Believing she had hit the mark, Yuria burst into bright laughter. Her innocent expression made me chuckle as well.
After a moment, I stroked her hair. She smiled softly and closed her eyes.
“Just trust me. Then you’ll never have to feel heartache again.”
“Yes…! I’ve already decided to trust and follow only you, Jihyeok.”
“Good girl. And honestly… I wasn’t very satisfied earlier.”
“With what?”
“Those men are living sins. Simply knocking them out isn’t enough to ‘save’ them.”
“Mmm… Then what should we do?”
“Kill them.”
At my cold tone, Yuria flinched. She hesitated, feeling the primal revulsion toward murder.
“K-kill them…?”
“If bugs are wasting oxygen and eating our crops, of course we exterminate them. Am I wrong?”
“Not exactly, but…”
“Do you know about the Syria incident?”
“Yes. I heard about it from Sehwa and the Doctor while doing the homework you gave me.”
“How much?”
“Humans conducted horrific experiments. I was so disgusted when I heard. Oh, and the Doctor was hiding something. She kept avoiding my eyes and tried to end the conversation… Do you know anything, Jihyeok…?”
The Doctor had lied during her meeting with Yuria, claiming all the perpetrators of the experiments had been caught. Yuria had grown suspicious when the Doctor looked away, but had forgotten about it until now. My words brought it back.
“I know. Everything.”
“Ah! You were captured too! Are you okay? Any aftereffects?”
“None. Not a single one.”
“Thank goodness…”
“And I wasn’t captured. I walked in on my own two feet so I could see what kind of experiments they were running.”
“I knew it.”
“You already heard the earlier parts from those two, so I’ll skip to the conclusion. I killed every single human in that cave—over fifty of them.”
“…What?”
Yuria’s eyes widened, but her shock was only at the unexpected scale of the act—not at the killing itself. Why? Because she already viewed humans as evil. Punishing evil was only natural. Even the Doctor, who still lacked a stigma, had said something similar to me. There was no way Yuria, now bearing one, wouldn’t understand.
“Just breathing the same air as them annoyed me. So I burned them all.”
Strictly speaking, I hadn’t killed most of them—Marcela had wiped them out—but lies were part of my identity.
“R-really…?”
“Have you ever seen me lie?”
“No…”
“During the experiments, they mocked their victims without blinking. But the moment I set the cave on fire, they screamed and begged for their lives. Opportunistic scum who only acted tough because of their numbers…”
Yuria swallowed, eyes sparkling. She wanted to hear more.
“Interesting expression.”
“Please tell me more… I’m curious.”
“What are you curious about?”
“Back then… how did it feel…?”
“Obviously good. You should have been there… What a shame.”
Yuria swallowed again. She tilted her head back, staring at the ceiling—clearly imagining herself setting the entire cave ablaze. Her breathing grew rough once more. Between heavy breaths, she asked, “Did you feel any guilt…?”
“Not at all. Why? Are you worried you might?”
“Yes… I’ve seen plenty of people die, but I can’t imagine how it would feel to kill someone with my own hands…”
“Don’t worry. You and I share a similar nature. If I don’t feel it, you won’t either.”
“D-do you think so…?”
Good. She was interested.
“Here, let me explain it simply. You swatted a mosquito before your shower earlier, right?”
“Yes.”
“You killed a worthless life that was buzzing around. Did you feel guilty?”
“No… Actually, it felt refreshing…”
“It’s the same feeling. No—better. Killing those kinds of humans is far more thrilling than swatting mosquitoes.”
Yuria couldn’t keep her hands still. She rubbed her arms as if chilled, then stroked the inside of her thighs while breathing hard. The final step was essential: reducing Yuria’s aversion to murder so she could adapt quickly. Most of that resistance had already faded. I needed to whittle away the rest before the process was complete.
“Strip.”
“Ah, yes!”
Yuria stood and opened the closet. After removing her clothes and fastening the collar around her neck, she glanced at the various BDSM tools, hesitated briefly, then picked up the electric paddles and knelt before me. She wanted to use those? She must be craving that sharp, tingling sensation today.
When I picked up the paddles, Yuria lay down and looked up at me. She was already wet. The excitement from beating the foreign tourists earlier still lingered, amplified by my explanation.
“Shall we begin?”
“Yes…”
I pressed the button and lightly touched the top of the paddle. A jolt of surprise ran through me—the current was quite strong. No intensity control, apparently. Still, once she adapted, it would bring her immense pleasure.
“I’ll give you a mission.”
“A mission…? What is it?”
“Every time I press this against your body, imagine the people burning to death in Syria. As vividly as possible. Understood?”
“Yes… I understand…”
Hearing her answer, I brought the paddle to her lower abdomen while holding down the button.
Tap.
“Kyaaah!”
Yuria let out a violent moan and convulsed like a fish out of water. Struggling to control her trembling body, she stammered, “J-Jihyeok… this is…”
“Feels good?”
“Yesss… Please keep going…♡”
She adapted in a single hit? Impressive. If I went full torture intensity, she’d be too busy enduring the pain to focus on the imagery training. I needed to touch her lightly, gradually, so she could properly carry out the mission.
