The September Mock Exam Bet
Jin Hayun fidgeted in place, bouncing on her feet while her hips wiggled side to side.
"Slurp..."
Whether she knew how she looked or not, she was far too busy sucking on my finger to care.
I glanced around the room for no particular reason, trying to keep my eyes off her — but that only made them keep drifting back.
Smack—!
"Hyaat—! Wh-what was that!!"
"Just felt like it."
"Hiiing... sluuurp.."
Even though it was clearly an embarrassing place for a man and a woman to be dealing with, she didn't seem to mind much beyond the fact that it stung.
Wiggle— wiggle—
She was even shaking it as if daring me to hit her again.
"Hey. Keep your butt still."
"Heheh..."
Judging by that reaction, she'd done it on purpose.
If things had gone any further, she might have demanded this exact situation next time too.
"When should we wrap up today."
"Slurp... Oh! Can I decide today?"
"Since it's the last time. Let's hear it first."
"Stay the night!"
Smack—!
"What are you saying."
"Hing... Why does that unnie get to and I don't!"
"Well..."
"Even though you're not even dating."
"Playboy."
"Casanova."
"Pervert."
"The neighbor guy who keeps asking me to suck."
SMAAACK—!!
"Hgyak—!!"
"It's all stuff you asked for in the first place."
"Hing... But is today really the last time?"
"Well. Yeah."
"You said if I listened well during my part-time job you'd do it often."
"Aren't you supposed to be studying?"
"...I am."
I found myself hesitating a little.
Letting her discover a taste like this and then banning it forever seemed almost cruel.
I'd been using the ability exclusively for Jin Hayun — cutting her off might be harder than quitting a Vita-stick.
With my resolve already softening, I had no choice but to make her an offer.
"The September mock exam is coming up soon, right?"
"Yes."
"What's your target?"
"...I wasn't going to take it."
"What? You're sitting the CSAT this year, aren't you?"
"...I figured if I got bad scores I'd just lose motivation, so I was going to skip straight to the real thing."
Smack—!
"What kind of bullshit is that."
"Hing..."
I had no idea who she'd picked up that logic from.
No — if she'd learned it from anyone at all, a kid taking the CSAT in November would never decide to skip the September mocks.
"Hey. If you get good scores on the September mock exam, I'll let you do it again."
"Really?!!"
"Yeah."
"Then... average Grade 5 or better?!"
"Are you kidding me? Grade 2 or better across the board."
"Eh... that's way too hard."
"Math and Korean were your weak subjects, right?"
She nodded hard.
Did she think acting like that would get me to lower the bar.
"Raise math by one grade and Korean by two. That's the bare minimum for a reward."
"..."
"Got it? Grade 2 or better in everything on the September mocks."
"Then just once...?"
She'd be grinding for quite a while — even I thought a single time felt a little stingy.
But doing it often would be a problem for me too.
"One day."
"All day long?!!"
"Not the entire day — from when we meet during your part-time shift, and on from there."
"G-good! Yaaawn."
"No."
I pulled my finger away as Hayun opened her mouth toward it.
"The mood's already broken, and this way you'll actually work hard. If you get your fill right now, are you really going to study?"
"...Just one bite."
"Here."
"Slurp. Pop—!"
"Ugh, how hard do you have to suck to make a sound like that. I'm heading out now?"
"..."
"Study hard like we promised. Not much time left."
"Yeees..."
I was giving her another chance and going along with her, but her reaction still rubbed me the wrong way.
"Should I just call it off?"
"No!! Goodbye!!"
Click—
I still wasn't sure this was the right call.
But spending time with Jin Hayun was fun in its own way.
And I was worried she might not be able to focus on studying because of me, so there wasn't much choice.
"Sigh..."
Anyway, officially I was still single.
It should be fine.
"Hwaa..."
The moment Jung Woohyun left, Jin Hayun bolted straight to the spot on the bed where he'd been sitting.
"Sniff sniff.. huuuuup..."
"...No smell."
Just what was that sweet taste that came from Woohyun's body.
Honestly, how it was even possible didn't matter much.
She just needed to be allowed to taste it again.
"..."
He insisted they weren't, but no matter how you looked at it, they seemed like a couple. At the very least, something was going on.
She'd thought things were progressing well between the two of them — and then she'd felt a massive crisis.
In that murky atmosphere, if things had gone just a little further, it wouldn't have been a finger she was sucking on.
But now she had nothing to worry about.
"There was definitely a reaction..."
Moving her body this way and that, she'd felt it clearly.
Woohyun had been responding sexually.
And in the process — whether she'd unintentionally appealed to him or not — she'd even scored the triumph of getting her butt spanked.
"Heheheheh..."
Now she just needed good scores on the September mock exam.
"Hihihi... He has no idea!"
What Hayun pulled out was a private mock exam paper.
She'd already built up the skill to comfortably land Grades 1 to 2 on the September mocks.
For some reason he seemed to think she wasn't studying properly — but that couldn't have been further from the truth.
Thud.
There were about forty minutes left until her usual bedtime, but she didn't waste them. She pulled out a book right away.
Her CSAT studying had gained real momentum ever since she met Woohyun.
More precisely — ever since she found out he attended Hongpyeong University.
"I have to pass... go to school together! Even become a campus couple...!"
She could forgive Woohyun looking elsewhere a little.
After all, next year when he returned to school too and they attended together, the time they spent with each other would clearly increase.
School, home, school, home — and the school was the same, and home was even the same building!
"Fighting!!"
She studied hard, painting a pink campus life with Woohyun in her mind.
Of course, there was no way for Jin Hayun to know that Ajeong attended the same school and had the exact same plans to return.
"Woohyuuun...!"
"Everyone's staring.."
"So what!"
"I guess."
If you'd been coming to this gym recently, there was no way you wouldn't know Ajeong and I were dating.
Ajeong had always been popular enough to draw every eye in the place — and then some guy started showing up with her every day, being openly physical.
Even when I was alone in the men's locker room, I could feel plenty of recognizing stares.
I had a body with nothing to be ashamed of, sure — but blatant ogling was still burdensome.
Sometimes people even openly marveled.
"It's because I feel like a lot of people have been staring lately."
"Woohyun, you're super popular!"
"Huh?"
"You didn't know??"
What was this all of a sudden.
Of course I knew I was getting attention — but that was different from being popular.
"When you leave, members always come ask me."
"Ask what?"
"Your boyfriend.. heheh... is your boyfriend a trainer? They want to sign up for PT and ask if it's possible."
"Really?"
"Yeah! When I say he's not a trainer, just a regular member, they say they want to work out with him and that they're jealous of me."
"Aha..."
I didn't particularly want to be popular with guys, but that kind of praise definitely felt good.
"Our Woohyun does have a great body! Smack—!"
Ajeong kept kneading my butt, declaring it firm.
I'd been worried about what to do if someone else started targeting Ajeong after that male staff member — but it seemed I didn't need to worry anymore.
Ajeong and I had already become the official couple of this gym.
Maybe I was even more popular than Ajeong at this point.
"Wait at the counter first today!"
"Okay~"
After working out, I usually showered and came out first.
Waiting a bit, chatting at the counter for about an hour, then heading home — that was the fixed routine.
Today the previous-shift employee had something come up and left early, so I was able to sit at the counter ahead of time.
"...Excuse me."
I was watching short-form videos when a voice came from across the counter.
"Yes??"
The person who'd spoken was a female member who looked around my age.
You could call it ordinary leggings attire, but somehow it gave off a bold impression.
"Yes, um..."
"Sorry. I'm not a staff member here. She'll be here soon — please wait a moment."
I'd figured a situation like this might come up eventually.
If someone was sitting at the counter, it was natural to assume they worked there.
I couldn't be sure, but since it was a face I didn't recognize despite consistently coming at the same time, maybe she was here for the first time today.
So I cleanly delivered the line I'd prepared for exactly this kind of moment.
"Ah... that's not it — could you give me your number?"
"Ah! Yes. If you call the 02 number posted up front here, it connects right to the center phone!"
I pointed to the sign at the front of the counter.
This much I could tell her even without being staff.
"...Yes, thank you."
The female member copied down the number, said goodbye, and left.
I went back to my phone and started waiting for Ajeong.
"Excuse me."
I shouldn't have sat here.
Mistaken for staff again, I turned off my phone and looked up.
"Hm?"
"Hehe... nothing happened, right?"
"What — come in already."
Fortunately, the one who'd spoken wasn't another member. It was Ajeong.
"What were you doing?"
"Just~ looking at my phone."
"Hmm~"
She looked like she had a specific answer she wanted to hear.
"Why?"
"Someone talked to you earlier — what was it?"
"Ah~ she asked for the gym phone number, so I told her it was posted up front."
"Aha.."
Apparently she'd seen the female member approach.
Like at the subway station last time, I had no idea how she always managed to catch these things at such subtle timings.
"That was all."
"Really."
"Pfft.. why are you making excuses."
"It's not that.. I just didn't want you to misunderstand."
"Aigoo... Woohyun is too popular!"
Ajeong complained and leaned against my shoulder.
"You didn't dry your hair?"
"I came out in a hurry because it felt like people were staring at you."
Knead knead—
Leaning on my shoulder, she pressed in close and naturally put her hand on my butt again, fondling it.
This was the default posture at the counter.
Since the CCTV only caught faces and nothing below was visible, Ajeong's hands were even more unrestrained.
"Want to hang out after we're done today?"
"Today? Where?"
"I'll come over to your place."
"Ah — you're coming to my place?"
"Yeah!"
"Hmm... not today. Maybe around Thursday? Come then."
"Why??"
"I have a present prepared for you, and it should arrive around then."
"A present???"
"Yeah. Similar to last time?"
"Last time?"
Had I given Ajeong a present before.
Ah.
Thinking about it — it was a little embarrassing to call it a present, but I had given her flowers once.
Snap—!
I made a sound with the fingers of my right hand.
"Like this?"
While her gaze locked onto my right hand, I held out the flower already waiting in my left.
"Whoa—!! What is this?!!"
"I can give you these every day — but you'll like the one coming Thursday even more."
"This is already so good..."
Ajeong took the flower with a genuinely moved expression.
It wasn't originally something I was interested in, so I didn't do it often — but it was definitely magic with incredible learning speed.
Plus the current wealth that let me buy and gift whatever I wanted, freely.
Just nine more Balance Games.
If I stopped after that many, it would be the perfect cash-out.
