Stella's Surrender
Even the customers noticed how noticeably larger my breasts had become. While I worked, politely entertaining them, the men kept shooting me suspicious glances. Why were they looking at me like that? It wasn’t even my chest they were staring at—they just kept giving me those looks.
‘I made a deal with the uncles.’
‘Ah, in exchange for helping Stella get her oath of submission?’
‘They agreed to grant one request each in return for receiving the oath.’
‘You didn’t ask any questions?’
It was strange that they had accepted the deal without any suspicion, even though it involved extracting an oath of submission from Stella. ‘I must still look like an angel on the surface. They probably trusted me because it was an angel speaking.’
‘Being an angel certainly has its conveniences when it comes to trust.’
Working as a bartender had become easier now that regulars like Asad and a few other men had settled in. The customer I was currently serving was Asad.
“Elisha, you’re becoming more and more to my taste. I like those breasts. A woman should be voluptuous, after all.”
“Thank you for the compliment.”
“What’s that earring?”
“Oh, I just felt like trying it on.”
I wasn’t sure how many high-class dairy cow angels existed, but apparently there weren’t many, since the ear tags weren’t widely recognized. Honestly, I had been worried because all the tags looked identical in design.
“It suits you.”
“Thank you.”
Why was this man complimenting me so much? He had been praising my makeup and hairstyle nonstop since earlier.
‘He wants another handjob, doesn’t he? You idiot.’
‘Already? It hasn’t even been that long since the last one.’
‘Keep pretending you don’t notice. If he thinks you’re easy, he’ll keep clinging and asking for more.’
‘Right, got it.’
I kept smiling and chatting as if I had no idea what Asad wanted, and eventually he smacked his lips and left. He must have really enjoyed that handjob last time.
Once work wound down past midnight, Maria began her operation. After retrieving the child from her vagina in the restroom, she carefully carried the wriggling, finger-wrapped offspring and approached Stella. While naturally conversing, she pretended to brush dust off Stella’s clothes and slipped the child onto her collar. The offspring moved cautiously and clung tightly to the fabric.
‘Now it’ll hide there, burrow into the nape of her neck, and start taking root.’
‘I hope the symbiosis goes smoothly…’
‘How well it leads Stella will be a good indicator of our success rate in turning angels into symbionts.’
Stella retired to her room, and Maria returned to hers to wash up. Together with Maria, who had put the suit back on, I fell asleep.
The next morning, Maria tried to check on Stella first, but for some reason Stella didn’t come out of her room. Left with no choice, Maria left the shop to head to the lab. Still drawing stares from those around her, she arrived at the lab, greeted Isabel, and began discussing the underground city.
“…And that’s how I came up to the surface.”
“Where on the surface?”
“You know the Glass Garden in the park district? It was the domed building there.”
“So it wasn’t just a decoration on the building. Anyway, good work.”
“Thank you.”
Maria had been gradually changing how she behaved toward Isabel. The changes were so subtle that Isabel didn’t seem to notice and was simply growing accustomed to them.
“High-class dairy cows… If they only targeted angels, it makes sense that ordinary people wouldn’t know. Take off all your clothes for now.”
“Yes.”
Standing before Isabel wearing only the choker, Maria lifted her breasts with both hands and spoke.
“They’re enormous. Are they really like a cow’s? At this size, they’d definitely please the god. And to use slime like that—Eden really shows aspects beyond imagination.”
“I took photos of the inside of the cow factory and the underground city. Should I send them?”
“Yes. And lie down on the scanner. I want to examine you in detail.”
“Understood.”
Maria drank the precision-scan drug and lay on the scanner. While Isabel reviewed the photos of the cow factory, she frowned and muttered,
“Turning fellow humans into livestock like this is horrifying. Seeing it firsthand makes Eden’s darkness feel even more real.”
By the time Isabel finished organizing and saving the photos, Maria’s scan was complete. Rising from the scanner, Maria spoke to Isabel.
“The implant’s storage was insufficient, so I couldn’t take many high-resolution photos.”
“I’ll give you an external storage device. Attach it to the connection port and you’ll have plenty of space.”
Isabel displayed Maria’s full-body scan on the screen and spoke. Compared to before, the Abaddon’s proportion in Maria’s body had increased dramatically. The roots had spread even more densely through the brain—so much so that the roots were more visible than the brain itself—and the roots enveloping the spine, uterus, and ovaries stood out clearly.
‘Maria, it looks like there are more roots than brain now. Is that okay?’
‘The roots have taken hold, but the human brain is still intact. And I’m analyzing everything as carefully as possible, so it’s fine.’
‘Analyzing?’
‘Exactly that. I’m analyzing the human brain and acquiring its functions. I’m creating a new Abaddon brain.’
She was making a brain out of roots? Then she would truly become an Abaddon with a human body.
‘It’s not easy because I lack samples, but I’ve already analyzed and implemented a large portion.’
‘So am I inside Maria’s main body too?’
‘No. I’m organizing and transferring all of Elisha’s memories and knowledge into the new Abaddon brain that will replace the human one. Haven’t you sometimes felt like time suddenly jumped?’
‘Yeah, it happened last time too.’
‘That’s the loss of consciousness from moving the brain.’
Ah, so that’s what caused it. But why go to the trouble of creating a new Abaddon brain to replace the human one? It seemed difficult enough that even Maria called it hard.
‘Why bother making an Abaddon brain to replace the human one? Isn’t it difficult?’
‘It’s for returning emotions to the angels while keeping them as they are. How long are we supposed to keep granting them emotions in their place? I can just relay what the implant processes, but the other children won’t have implants. We need to find a solution in advance.’
I see. It was preparation for the future. Maria always seemed busy preparing and anticipating things.
‘I won’t teach brain modification to anyone except the offspring we’ll symbiotically bond with the angels.’
‘Why?’
‘Even if it’s necessary, it ultimately means modifying the brain—the core of human selfhood. We are symbiotic Abaddon, not parasitic organisms that manipulate the host’s brain.’
Maria was right. Aside from the reason of returning emotions to the angels, it wasn’t a good thing. We were both Abaddon, and Maria was free to use her own body however she wished, but the other children were in different situations.
While we conversed, Isabel, who had been examining the scan, pointed at the interior of the breasts and spoke.
“This is the slime. It’s completely fused with the mammary gland and duct tissue. How did you make the slime fuse with the cells instead of consuming them?”
The slime, marked in white, had spread densely along the mammary glands filling the breasts. It hadn’t disappeared after fusing—it was still there.
“The mammary glands have developed tremendously. They’re completely filling the inside of breasts this large. At this rate, it’s more than five times that of an average woman.”
Isabel kept exclaiming in admiration, curiously kneading the breasts with both hands.
“It’s a shame to use such technology for something like this. It would have been better if it were used for good. It doesn’t seem dangerous, at least. There are no noticeable side effects. The slime is secreting some unusual substance, though… I’ll have to analyze that. You don’t feel anything wrong either, right?”
“No, I’m perfectly fine.”
“Good. It’s encouraging that you received free passage with just this much.”
Isabel touched the ear tag on Maria’s left ear and spoke.
“So this ear tag is the pass. Calling it an ear tag really makes it feel like they’re treating you like actual cows. How far has Eden fallen?”
“It might be even worse than we think.”
“Right. We need to steel ourselves.”
Isabel provided Maria with equipment to use when entering the underground city: an external storage device that connected to the port, goggles to assist with vision, and a non-metallic dagger for emergencies. The dagger was to be worn by strapping a belt around the thigh and tucking it inside.
“And to infiltrate, you’ll need to fool the androids inside the underground city.”
“Is there a way?”
“A stealth suit.”
Isabel displayed data on the stealth suit on the screen and explained.
“It’s still in the early stages, but it can turn invisible in the visible light spectrum. That’s enough to fool ordinary androids. However, the security androids might also have infrared detection, so when entering the underground city, you’ll have to go in as a dairy cow.”
“Once I’m inside, I can hide using the stealth suit.”
“Exactly. From there, you infiltrate the secret facilities and collect evidence.”
Isabel asked for the latex suit to modify it into a stealth suit. She said the nano-engineered latex suit would serve as the base material for the stealth suit.
“It’s amazing that this latex suit can also function as stealth.”
“A few materials will need to be added and the functional parts adjusted, but it’s better than starting from scratch.”
Since my breasts had grown, I had been wearing the latex suit as underwear almost constantly, so regular underwear felt uncomfortable. The breasts swayed too much, and the support was poor, making the weight feel heavier.
We decided not to enter the underground city until the stealth suit was complete. The concern was that frequent trips would only raise suspicion.
After that, I spent my days in a repetitive cycle: working and sleeping at the shelter, indulging in Maria’s hobbies, exercising, learning combat techniques, and repeating it all again. Occasionally I still lost consciousness and returned, but knowing it was from the brain-transfer process, I didn’t worry much.
Then one day, Maria spoke.
“The transfer is complete. Now Elisha is completely Abaddon too.”
‘I don’t feel particularly different.’
“It’s because only the brain was changed. Well, you won’t feel it, but I did do some organizing during the process.”
Maria reassured me that it was nothing significant. Even as considerable time passed, Stella continued her daily life as if nothing had happened. But seeing the constant flush on her face and the occasional trembling of her body, it seemed the child had successfully bonded and was taming her.
‘Ah, she went again. She’s been going more often lately, hasn’t she?’
‘The child seems to be taming her well.’
Even while working, Stella’s moments of blank stares gradually increased. Then one day, Stella came to our room. Unlike before, she wore a serious expression. After entering through the door Maria opened, she locked it and spoke.
“I succeeded, Mother.”
“It didn’t take long. Good work.”
“Thank you.”
The child, who had greeted using Stella’s body, smiled at Maria’s praise and nestled into her arms. Maria held Stella’s body and patted her back.
“Tell me how it went.”
“Yes, first…”
The child explained that it had succeeded in burrowing into the nape of Stella’s neck and fusing while she slept. It had taken several days to extend its tentacles toward the brain and fully take root as instinct dictated, and it had read knowledge and memories from the brain to form its own self. Upon gaining self-awareness, it had begun taming the host, Stella, according to the knowledge Maria had provided. By granting intense pleasure whenever Stella accepted the symbiosis, it made her acknowledge the Abaddon’s existence. After continuous conversation and pleasure training, it had taken control of the body just moments ago.
I had thought it was a docile child, but it had a crueler side than expected. I thought it would only form symbiosis, but to even steal the body…
‘Maria, this seems excessive. Symbiosis alone would suffice. Taking the body too isn’t symbiosis, is it?’
‘It wasn’t stolen. It was voluntarily handed over. It’s the same as with Elisha, so don’t worry too much.’
Maria answered me that way, then spoke to the child.
“So, have you completely taken control of the body?”
“Yes. This body is now mine. Just like Mother’s.”
“But the host is satisfied?”
“Yes. She was actually grateful. Stella was exhausted from acting for over fifteen years. She forced herself to endure out of a sense of duty as an angel, but her mind had worn down from the emotionless years.”
The child said that Stella, having grown extremely weary, had handed over her body after receiving her emotions back, saying she wanted to rest, and had fallen into a deep sleep. Only now did I realize that angels who had acted without emotions for so long were in such a severe state. The moment she stopped acting after having sex with the men hadn’t simply been from exhaustion due to the sex.
I felt pity for Stella.
“From now on, you must act as Stella. Are you confident?”
“Of course. I’ve received everything of Stella’s. From her body to her experiences, knowledge, and even her name. I am already Stella.”
The child’s elegantly smiling face was Stella herself.
“Good. Stella. Now all that’s left is to have sex with the three regular customers, make the oath of submission to sell yourself to them, and then turn them into prisoners.”
“Leave it to me. Rather than continuing to work as an angel, I’d prefer to have men in my grasp and handle them as I please. Hohoho.”
The child who had become Stella clearly revealed herself to be a different existence from the original Stella. Covering her mouth with one hand as she laughed, Stella’s appearance evoked that of a seductive woman.
Watching her, Maria spoke.
“Greet Elisha as well.”
“Yes.”
‘Talk to her directly. She’s your first child.’
‘Okay.’
When Maria transferred control, I opened my mouth.
“Hello. It feels like just yesterday you were a larva, and now you’ve become a proper Abaddon.”
“Hello, Mother. Thank you for making me an outstanding Abaddon.”
“Hehe, I worked hard.”
“Mother Elisha was especially close with Stella. She also thought it was comfortable being with Elisha.”
“Stella…”
It was comforting to know that Stella had regarded me favorably even while exhausted and struggling. Still, it felt strange to think that the child I had created had grown up and was now conversing with me using the host’s body.
“Watching Stella and Mother Elisha, I realized something. Humans are weak beings. They are existences that need to be cared for.”
The eyes of the child speaking this way were filled with a sense of superiority. Hmm, was this disposition influenced by Maria?
“The nation of Abaddon that Mother Maria will establish is one that coexists with humans. To coexist with humans, taming them is essential. Mother Elisha thinks so too, right?”
“Uh, yeah…”
Faced with Stella’s hardened expression and cold gaze, I instinctively thought of Maria and stammered an affirmation. As expected of Maria’s child, there was something similar about her. And to think she was supposed to be docile—she was anything but.
“The humans in my memories were truly ugly and filthy beings. Of course, there were some who weren’t, but far too few. We Abaddon must guide such humans correctly.”
‘Maria, didn’t you say this child was docile?’
‘Well, you can’t tell how a child will grow until it does, so…’
I felt uneasy at the sight of Stella, who seemed even more dangerous than Maria, and it appeared Maria felt the same.
“Oh my, hohoho. I got a little excited. I’m sorry, Mother Elisha.”
“Ah, no. You seemed lively, so it was nice.”
I spoke while watching Stella fan herself, looking embarrassed.
“When Stella wakes up later, let me meet her once.”
“Yes, I will.”
“Now talk with Maria.”
‘Maria, switch back.’
Only after Maria took control of the body again could I let out a sigh. Hmm, that type really was difficult for me. Even if she was my daughter, difficult was still difficult.
“Stella, you must be careful. Don’t disregard humans too much—be cautious and vigilant. Understood?”
“I’ll keep that in mind, Mother.”
“Now, go on.”
“Goodbye.”
Stella smiled elegantly, greeted us, and left the room. Once the door closed, Maria let out a quiet sigh.
“She’s grown well. Unexpectedly, the host handed over everything and fell asleep.”
‘I never imagined Stella was struggling that much…’
If that was the case, there would be others among the angels who had grown weary too. Cases like Stella’s might happen again.
“We can only hope Stella does well. If she successfully turns those three men into prisoners, it will be helpful once we establish the nation.”
‘Hmm, a successful businessman, a successful writer, and a successful security company president…’
They were quite famous in Eden too, even if we saw them often. Boris, after all, was a renowned writer even abroad.
