Wishful Thinking About Marrying Jisu
Of course, my excitement about marrying Jisu might just be me getting carried away. There was no telling how his parents and relatives would react, and since I would have to involve myself with not only his brother’s family but Jisu’s own household as well, I needed to visit Eden and obtain Elisa’s permission first. With my growing list of acquaintances in Korea and the increasing time I had to spend here, I had already been apart from Elisa more often than usual. If I brought up the topic of marriage upon my return, she would definitely scold me.
“Mmm……”
I mulled over how to minimize the inevitable lecture, when Jisu stirred as though waking. He lifted his head for a moment, but the soft cushion of my breasts seemed to please him; he buried his face again and let out steady breaths. Yet quite apart from his breathing, his quickened heartbeat and the blood rushing downward—making his member gradually harden—made it obvious he was only pretending to sleep.
It was a rather childish act for a man in his twenties, but it suited his relatively small, cute appearance so well that I found it more endearing than expected. So I simply let him continue the act and watched quietly.
After a long while with no reaction from me, curiosity must have gotten the better of him. He cracked his eyes open, only to meet my steady gaze. Startled, he jerked upright.
“Huk! Y-you were awake?”
“Yes. Why get up? You could have stayed like that longer.”
“Ugh… You caught me pretending. How can I keep doing it now?”
“Hmm~ Then let me send you off properly once.”
“Eek!”
I wrapped my legs around his waist as he tried to rise and pulled him close. His retreating body drew near again, driving his member deeper inside me as I clenched tightly around him.
“I lost consciousness midway yesterday, so I couldn’t enjoy it properly. Give it to me intensely this time.”
“Hehe, Elisha—who’s usually so composed—is begging first. Was it that good?”
“Yes. It’s been a very long time since I’ve drowned in pleasure to the point of losing my mind.”
“All right! If it’s Elisha’s request, I have to grant it!”
“Ahh~”
With a delighted expression, Jisu poured his utmost effort into delivering intense ecstasy.
Afterward, as I lay savoring the lingering waves of climax, Jisu stretched out beside me and fiddled with his phone before suddenly asking,
“I’m thinking of ordering delivery. What do you want to eat?”
“Delivery? Isn’t there any food at the villa?”
“Huh? Um… The villa manager lives on-site, so there should be some.”
“Eh, there’s a manager too?”
“Yes. He’s been taking care of the villa for a long time.”
If it had been a long time, did that mean he had worked under the President?
“Where is he now?”
“I’m not sure. When I told him I was inviting you, he said to enjoy our time and left somewhere.”
“Hmm……”
For a longtime employee of an elite family to accept the situation so readily and vacate the premises could only mean he already knew about me. I wondered exactly how much he knew—and still permitted our meetings.
Living together in a family-like house wouldn’t be a major issue; it was similar to sharing quarters with the Shining Lights hunter team. The matter of my slavery was controlled by the Abaddon planted inside me, so there was no fear of it leaking beyond the family. The real sticking point was that, strictly speaking, I was a full-body prosthetic doll. Although my status as a rare Succubus granted me an exception, the fact that more than eighty percent of me was mechanical might be difficult for ordinary living beings to accept.
Well… I was treated as a living creature because I could bear children, but still…
In any case, since there were no critical problems, I could assume he was permitting ongoing contact.
“Then instead of ordering delivery, let’s cook something ourselves.”
“Eh? You know how to cook?”
“Of course I do. Why did you assume I couldn’t?”
“You just don’t look like the cooking type, somehow……”
“What’s that supposed to mean? Don’t be shocked when you see my skills.”
My pride was slightly wounded. I had considerable confidence in my cooking—skills honed since my days as Havid’s slave. I rose from the bed at once and spoke to the still-dazed Jisu.
“First, let’s wash up. Then show me to the kitchen.”
“Uh, yeah.”
I led him to the bathroom, where we showered together, then borrowed some clothes from the villa and headed for the kitchen. True to its luxury status, the kitchen was both elegant and impeccably organized, stocked with every utensil one could need. A mana range occupied the space where a gas stove would normally sit, radiating quiet dignity.
Mana ranges that used expensive mana stones as fuel had grown far more efficient lately, yet the consumable nature of the stones themselves made them far costlier than gas or electricity. They were hardly common household items.
“Wow, is that a mana range? I heard they’re insanely expensive and have high upkeep costs, so they’re rare to see.”
“Really? We’ve used one at home since I was little, so I thought everyone did.”
“Yes~ young master. Please have a seat at the table.”
“Hey, stop teasing~”
I settled Jisu at the dining table. Since none of the clothes fit properly, I chose an oversized shirt and tied on an apron to keep it clean. Then I rummaged through the refrigerator, pulled out ingredients, and began prep work.
Hmm~ Maybe I should make something special—Eden-style dishes. The ingredients were similar enough that I could probably manage something close.
“Ooh~ The performance on this mana range is incredible.”
It was far cleaner and easier to use than gas ranges that smelled of fuel or electric ones that always felt awkward. I filled a pot with water, set it over the vivid flame produced by burning mana, and simultaneously worked on several other dishes.
Chop, chop, chop. On a wooden cutting board adorned with antique patterns—almost too beautiful to cut on—I trimmed ingredients with an equally expensive-looking knife. All the while, I noticed Jisu staring at me in open fascination.
“Why are you watching me so blankly?”
“Ah, no… It’s just… seeing you cook from behind in nothing but that shirt and apron… it looks really nice.”
“Really? Hehe, then look as much as you like.”
I signaled my parasitic tentacle tail to sway my body from side to side, then parted my thighs slightly to give him a better view from behind. After finishing one dish, I glanced back and caught his gaze locked between my legs. Still, thanks to the generous amount of vital energy I had absorbed that morning, he remained unaroused.
Enjoying the heat of his stare, I prepared an Eden-style soup reminiscent of a rich stew, along with various side dishes, and arranged everything neatly on the table with fresh bread.
“Ta-da~ I made some foods from my homeland.”
“Whoa~ This is amazing. I’ve never seen any of these before.”
“Hurry and try them.”
“Let’s see… starting with this……”
With an expectant face he lifted a spoonful of soup to his mouth, paused, then offered an awkward smile.
“Uh, yeah. It’s good. Hahaha.”
“Huh? What, does it taste bad?”
“It’s just… maybe because it’s from another dimension, the flavor is… unique……”
“That’s strange.”
At the unexpected reaction I took a spoon myself and tasted the soup. Hmm? It tasted perfectly normal to me. What was going on?
“Is the taste really that off?”
“It’s not terrible, but it’s too sweet… or too salty… The seasoning is so strong it’s hard to eat.”
Too strong? That was odd. I had checked it before and found nothing wrong. Could the problem be hardware rather than software? It had been over a year since my last full inspection of the prosthesis; a detailed diagnostic was definitely due.
Aha. Come to think of it, when I ate in Horana’s dimension I had wondered why everyone seasoned their food so lightly. It wasn’t the food—it was me. I had assumed it was because of the extreme situation and the need to stay healthy. I never imagined this was the reason.
“I’m sorry. I’m not used to this kitchen and made a mistake. I’ll do better next time.”
“No, it’s fine~ The seasoning is strong, but the flavor is there.”
He kept smiling and forcing the food down, but his complexion gradually paled. After managing to finish half the meal, Jisu looked as if he might collapse at any moment.
“Stop eating now. You’ll make yourself sick.”
“But I can’t leave the food you worked so hard to make… Uup.”
“Ah! Wait!”
When he finally couldn’t hold back and looked ready to vomit, I hurriedly snatched the trash bin and held it under his face.
“Ueeek!”
“Sigh… I told you not to push yourself.”
“S-sorry… Uek!”
Only after he had emptied everything did Jisu finally calm down. I sat him on the living-room sofa, handed him a glass of water, and said,
“Call the manager. I need to head back now.”
“Yeah. I should call a car too.”
“No need. I’ll go alone. I memorized the path.”
“It’s a mountain trail. Are you sure you’ll be okay? I can walk you.”
“You already know, don’t you? That I’m a hunter. The forests of Earth are nothing more than walking paths to me. Don’t worry.”
“So you noticed I knew.”
“You work at the Hunter Association. Of course you’d figure it out quickly. Anyway, rest. I’ll clean the kitchen and be right back.”
“Okay.”
Leaving Jisu reaching for the phone, I returned to the kitchen and cleaned everything thoroughly. After changing back into my own clothes and returning to the living room, I found an unfamiliar but kindly-looking middle-aged man standing beside the sofa.
With his pleasant smile, ordinary face, and neatly pressed clothes, he looked every bit the simple villa manager. Yet the aura in his eyes and posture was anything but ordinary. The hidden sharpness I sensed was far more refined than what I felt from the hunters like my brother. It reminded me of the murderous soldiers I had encountered during the war.
“It is an honor to meet you, Lady Elisha. I am the villa manager, Woong-tae Lee.”
“Ah, yes. It’s nice to meet you.”
Uncle Woong-tae bowed politely, his smile never wavering as he concealed his energy. I returned the bow and used my vital energy to sense the body beneath his clothes. He was far younger and more solidly trained than his appearance suggested.
This man… was definitely not just a villa manager. I didn’t know his true role, but he was no ordinary person.
Our eyes met then, and I realized he had been observing me just as closely.
“Please continue to look after the young master.”
He turned his gaze away naturally as he spoke. I smiled in return.
“Yes, please don’t worry. Jisu, I’m leaving now.”
“Yeah. Uncle Woong-tae, I’ll see her off quickly.”
After another exchange of greetings with the manager, Jisu walked with me out of the villa and toward the fence.
“So… when can we meet again?”
“Mm~ It’s been a while since I returned to Earth, and I have many things to handle. I’ll probably be too busy to meet often. I’m sorry.”
“It’s okay. We both have our own duties. Next time we meet, let’s go somewhere fun.”
“Fun? Where?”
“That’s a secret until then!”
“All right. Now go back inside.”
“Yeah. Take care.”
He smiled and said goodbye, but his fingers fidgeted hesitantly. I stepped forward first and kissed him. After the brief contact, he clutched his lips with a startled expression. I waved at him and walked down the mountain path.
I returned home and reported the night I had spent with Jisu to the Madam. She listened with an expressionless face, stroking her chin.
“Elisha’s value was higher than I expected. It would have been a waste to use you as an ordinary hostess.”
She fell silent again, lost in thought for a long while. Finally she opened her eyes and spoke in a firm voice.
“A man of Han Jisu’s caliber is worth the investment. I will discuss it with my husband and inform you of the final decision.”
“Yes, Madam. Also, I must visit Eden briefly.”
“Is something the matter?”
“I need the Master’s permission and an inspection of my prosthesis. There is a problem with the taste sensor.”
“Ah, of course. One must obtain the owner’s permission to use the doll. Go ahead.”
“Yes, Madam.”
I rose from my kneeling position, bowed politely, and left the room. The moment I closed the door, Charlotte and Ruya—who had been eavesdropping from either side—pressed close and whispered in hushed voices.
“Are you really marrying another man, nya?”
“Legally becoming husband and wife?”
“That is the current plan, but I cannot guarantee how it will turn out.”
“Oh my~”
“Well, Elisha doesn’t love her husband that much anyway, nya. Still, as a concubine, you will bear your husband’s child, nya?”
“Yes, it is already decided.”
“But won’t they object when they find out? It would be another man’s child.”
“My pregnancy period is short, so I will give birth quickly. The family can raise the child.”
The three of us walked down the corridor into the concubines’ quarters and continued talking.
“We will raise Elisha’s baby ourselves, nya. You can rest easy, nya.”
“Thank you.”
“If you get married, you will have to leave this house. It makes me a little sad.”
“Nothing is decided yet. Who knows? Maybe Jisu will end up living here.”
“Nya. No matter how you look at it, that seems difficult, nya?”
“Since I like him, I intend to make him completely mine.”
“Eek, are you going to fully brainwash him?”
“Yes.”
I answered while looking into Ruya’s wide eyes, which now held large pink hearts.
Complete brainwashing was only possible when one could fully trust and entrust oneself to the other party. If I was going to marry Jisu, I wanted to bind him tightly.
Ruya’s surprised eyes turned sly. She smiled and said,
“You must have fallen in love with the man named Han Jisu.”
“Huh? Why would you interpret it that way?”
“Because you are displaying the desire to possess him completely. If there is no other reason for such obsession, what remains but love?”
“That’s right, nya. To harbor feelings for a man other than your husband—as a concubine, that is a disqualification, nya.”
“Aww~ That can’t be.”
Love? The feeling was completely different from what I had experienced with Teo. To call it love felt bewildering.
