Blades of the Cyborg and the Scriptures of Ecstasy
No matter how impressive the durability of a mechanical body might be, I was still a full-body prosthesis with the same limits. When durabilities were evenly matched, the one taking the blows was always at the disadvantage.
Thwack!
“Ugh!”
The enemy finally crumpled as my kick—delivered with the full weight of my upper body swinging downward—slammed into the side of his head. He staggered, unable to endure any longer, and a groan tore from his throat.
I slipped backward to avoid the desperate leg he swung to shake me off and spoke calmly.
‘He’s definitely different. If it had been him, he would have twisted his head at the moment of impact to bleed off the force.’
‘He really was incredibly tough, wasn’t he?’
‘And at the same time, his fist would have flown in and sent me flying.’
His fighting style was the living embodiment of perfect offense and defense fused into one.
Clang!
Using the opponent’s reflexively swinging arm as a fulcrum, I spun my body and drove another kick into his head. This time his neck twisted completely and he toppled backward.
“Gack!”
“You should surrender soon.”
“You bitch!”
Clink!
The man sprang to his feet, clearly furious at being beaten so one-sidedly. Long blades slid out from both his hands.
I looked at the sharp edges that gleamed even in the shadows and said, “Weren’t you trying to take me alive?”
“It doesn’t matter if your arms and legs get cut off!”
His charge with both blades leading the way was noticeably more dangerous than before. Although this body—unlike the sex dolls created solely for relieving lust—had been designed for combat and possessed considerable impact resistance, it was still a full-body prosthesis specialized far more for sex than fighting. It was not tough enough to withstand blades sharp enough to slice the floor like tofu.
If I had possessed a male combat body built like a god’s, it might have been possible. But with my current frame, blocking or deflecting attacks was virtually impossible. I dodged the wildly crisscrossing blades as best I could and, whenever an opening appeared, drove strikes into the joint areas.
Even in a mechanized humanoid body, the joints were inevitably the weakest points, far more vulnerable to impact than the rest.
‘Ugh. If I had a full-combat prosthesis like a god’s, I could have blocked all of this effortlessly.’
‘But then the skin wouldn’t be soft—it would be as hard as stone, right? They would have removed the biological reproductive organs, so it wouldn’t even be female-shaped.’
‘True. God’s body really was like a lump of rock.’
Still, in a situation like this, I couldn’t help envying the male form. With its external genitalia, the interior could be optimized entirely for combat. The gap in combat performance sacrificed to create a soft, elastic female body was simply too vast.
Crack!
“Chikusho!”
“Hm?”
Unable to withstand the accumulated damage, his right elbow finally snapped. He shouted in an unintelligible language and staggered back.
I ignored the meaningless sounds and closed in from the side of his now-useless right arm. The enemy swung the blade on his left arm in a frantic spasm, but panic had made his already sloppy movements even worse. I caught it easily, then stomped down hard on his left elbow with my foot.
Crunch!
“Aaaagh!”
“Why don’t you just surrender now?”
“Kono kusogaki!”
“Could you say that in Korean?”
Thanks to the language program’s automatic learning function, I had grown far more accustomed to Korean lately. After returning from the fairy dimension I had taken off the translation ring, so I couldn’t understand a word he was saying.
While I watched warily as the man retreated with both broken arms dangling uselessly, Ruya approached from behind. She had finished dealing with the enemies in the rear.
“Everything’s cleaned up back there. Just this guy left?”
“Yes. It should be over soon.”
But the moment the man saw Ruya coming, he spat out another curse and began retreating faster. Then, without warning, his abdomen split open and something launched outward.
“What is that…”
‘It’s a missile! Dodge!’
“Ruya! Get out of the way!”
I grabbed Ruya’s body and sprinted toward the side alley at full power. The instant we dove inside, a tremendous explosion shook the entire area.
By the time my auditory sensors—momentarily paralyzed by the deafening roar—recovered, I regained my composure and scanned our surroundings. Fortunately the factory wall had shielded us from the blast. We were unharmed.
But the kidnapping suspects Ruya had subdued were all caught in the explosion and killed. The cyborg who had fired the missile had vanished.
“Ow, ow… I scraped my knee. What the hell was that guy? Wasn’t he trying to kidnap us? Firing a missile out of nowhere—what a lunatic.”
‘It looks like he detonated it to destroy the evidence. All the suspects are dead.’
“Probably. Once the situation turned against him, he decided to eliminate his subordinates before escaping.”
“What a cruel bastard. Who the hell is he?”
The only clues we had were his mechanized body and the sound of his voice. That alone was nowhere near enough to identify a cyborg who had undergone extensive body modification.
While Ruya called the police to report the incident, I examined the area where I had fought him once more, but found nothing useful. The dispatched officers then secured the scene and began their investigation. As both victims and witnesses, we accompanied them for questioning and only managed to return home late that evening.
Upon arriving, Ruya let her exhaustion show in every line of her body and grumbled.
“Damn it. What kind of nonsense is this? All this trouble because of some random kidnappers.”
“Do kidnapping incidents happen often? The police responded very quickly.”
“Not that often, but steadily. Especially because the neighboring countries are such hopeless disasters. They constantly try to kidnap people of our race.”
“So that man really was from one of those countries?”
When I mentioned during the interrogation that he had shouted “Chikusho” and “Kono kusogaki,” the investigation had leaned toward the conclusion that the mastermind was from the Japanese Empire.
The real problem was that he had known both my name and Ruya’s and had targeted us specifically. The fact that this was no random kidnapping but a deliberate operation against particular individuals made the situation far more complicated.
“They also asked us to refrain from going out for the time being, so I suppose we’ll have to stay inside for a while.”
“Ugh… I haven’t even properly looked around yet…”
I had no idea how I could be so unlucky.
Ruya began stripping off her clothes.
“Then shall we go sightseeing somewhere safe?”
“Where?”
“The National Dimensional Management Council where my father works, or the Magic Engineering Research Institute where my mother works.”
“Oh, right. Tell me about your family, Ruya. I keep meaning to ask but always forget.”
“Let’s talk while we bathe. We’re both covered in dust and grime.”
“Alright.”
Indeed, the battle and explosion had left us in terrible shape. We quickly shed our clothes, tossed them into the washing machine, and headed for the bathroom. After rinsing off the dust under the shower, we sank into the hot bath to soothe our bodies.
“Haaah~ So refreshing.”
“But the water is hot?”
“Koreans call hot water refreshing.”
“How strange.”
If the water was hot, it was hot. What kind of expression was “refreshing”?
“Ah, right. I was going to tell you about my family. Starting with my father…”
Ruya’s father was a first-generation immigrant over six hundred years old. He held a high position in the National Dimensional Management Council, answering directly to the president. Close to the Joseon royal family, blessed with wide connections, and a powerful mage, he was an extremely important figure in Korea.
Her mother was the same age, director of the Magic Engineering Research Institute and a pioneer in the fusion of magic and engineering. An outstanding scientist and mage, she held countless patents and wielded enormous influence even in military affairs. They were exceptional even among elves and occupied vital posts in Korea.
“So that’s why the Agrasil name carried so much weight.”
“It’s all thanks to how impressive my parents are.”
“You seem quite famous yourself, Ruya.”
When the police had arrived, they couldn’t hide their excitement at seeing her. Their eager attempts to speak with her had been like fans meeting a celebrity.
“Since an elf is working as a hunter, it’s unusual, so I’ve become somewhat known.”
Elves were usually gentle and disliked conflict, so they tended to take non-combat jobs. That was why Ruya’s older brother, Mr. Ruspel, worked in an office position and her younger brother was a researcher. In that context, a female elf choosing the dangerous path of a hunter had made her something of a celebrity among hunter enthusiasts.
“In any case, my family’s influence is greater than you might think. At least within Korea, they can handle almost anything.”
“As expected, it was the right choice to make you my slave.”
“Hehe. You finally understand my value? I’m a very expensive slave.”
Even on her healthy, sun-bronzed skin, a flush rose to her cheeks. She wore a lewd expression and approached with slow, seductive movements.
“So, Master. Please reward your slave.”
“Hmm, have you been enduring it well?”
“Yes… It’s already been two weeks. I’m at my limit.”
“Perfect. I need to replenish my vital energy anyway, so I’ll take care of both at once.”
I extended my tail, gently caressing her soft folds. She laughed with delight, spread her legs wide, and cried out happily.
“Thank you, Master!”
After that day in the bathroom—where I had both replenished my vital energy and satisfied my slave’s desires—time flowed swiftly.
At first, following the police’s request, I stayed indoors except for the occasional walk inside the fence while holding the leash of the bitch Rasha. A few days later the identities of the dead from the attack were confirmed. They were all low-ranking hunters, mere disposable underlings hired for money.
The police ultimately found no trace of the suspected mastermind from the Japanese Empire. They said they would continue investigating, but realistically it would be difficult to locate him.
Mr. Ruspel visited again and gave me an update on the dimensional verification process for the world I had come from.
The results showed that the intermediate dimension—the elf ruins—experienced time roughly 1.3 times slower than Earth. My own dimension, temporarily designated as the Eden dimension, flowed about 1.7 times slower than the elf ruins, making it approximately 2.2 times slower than Earth overall.
In other words, the Eden dimension already had longer day cycles, and with the slowed passage of time, we would have to wait considerably longer for the snow-covered season to end. The dimensional verification was therefore postponed until that season finally passed.
Thanks to Ruya acting as my guardian, I was issued an ID card surprisingly quickly. It meant I could now go out alone without being detained as an unidentified person.
Having finally obtained official identification on Earth, Elisa began to slip out from time to time, disappearing somewhere before returning. Since she went secretly without even telling Ruya, only she knew what she was doing.
A little while later, a small wedding was held for Gwangnam and his two wives.
The secret ceremony, attended only by a handful of close acquaintances, took place in Ekaterina’s temple beneath the blessings of the faithful. Only Ekaterina would file the official legal marriage; with Charlotte, they would enter a common-law marital relationship.
I had heard that the spouse of a nun of the goddess Erutina could normally have relations with the other nuns, but the idea was abandoned due to concerns about parasite infection and Ekaterina’s firm opposition.
After the wedding, Ruya and I went to the temple basement to receive baptism so we could become believers of the goddess Erutina. We washed ourselves thoroughly and waited in separate rooms.
Having visited the temple frequently at Ekaterina’s invitation, we had already received the minimum education required to become nuns of Erutina. We had read the scriptures and studied the doctrines.
Like other religions, the text contained moral guidelines, yet compared to the scripture of the Sun God religion that the guest priest from Eden’s Sun God temple had shown us, it was embarrassingly simple and thin.
Aside from the absolutely essential passages, the Erutina scripture was closer to a sex education manual. It contained detailed explanations—with illustrations—of female physical characteristics, menstruation, and pregnancy. It covered exercise routines for becoming a healthy mother, dietary guidelines, and even thorough instructions on cleansing for hygiene.
Above all, the most striking part was that it even detailed methods of sexual intercourse. The latter half, which felt more like an appendix, compiled the accumulated experience and knowledge the nuns had gained while working as courtesans. It was, in essence, a practical manual on sex.
