■■■ Bank Customer Guidelines (4)
Less than a minute after Han Yujin's exposé post went up, the gallery split perfectly into three camps.
The first were the panicked screams from those freaking out.
The second group dove in to analyze the juicy bait.
And finally, awe and worship for the new god at the center of the chaos.
Han Yujin smirked at the explosive reactions. This was it. The attention, the chaos, the worship. Every bit of gallery trolling existed for this thrill.
And you couldn't forget popcorn for a show like this! Switching to perfect spectator mode, she crossed one leg and reached out beside her.
Something warm touched her hand.
Oh.
No popcorn here.
She'd just grabbed a nearby newbie's hair, who was hanging their head.
"Um... excuse me..."
"Ah, sorry. Thought it was popcorn."
"P-popcorn...?"
Tch. Gotta buy some first thing when I get out.
As she thought that, the voice called again. "Excuse me."
"Yeah?"
"Th-that... um..."
Mosquito-level whisper. Eyes full of terror. Classic newbie panic. But laced with desperate hope, staring at Han Yujin like a savior.
"I... got a 1 million won loan earlier... and the deposit too."
Han Yujin glanced at her passbook. Customer loan account: 1 million won. User-only account: 1.67 million won.
"Y-yeah... the interest is rising so fast. Al-already 670k."
Account balance minus loan. Already 670k. Nope, 680k now. Updating in real time. Blink, and it's 1.69 million.
What the hell.
"Th-that teller earlier... the one at the deposit counter... said users with small amounts might pay off quick. Th-that's what he said. But. But."
"Ah."
Han Yujin let out a short sigh. Newbies were precious. One well-grown newbie meant hundreds of posts and thousands of comments in the gallery.
But.
[1.73 million won]
"Wh-what do I do? I... I can still live a year... right?"
Her pupils shook with despair.
Han Yujin silently glanced at the lounge clock. Over 14 hours till next business hours.
"P-please... say something. I can't do this. I wanna go home. This can't happen. My sibling... what about my sibling? Can't leave that kid alone. Gotta send money today."
For the first time, Han Yujin felt powerless. Rules. Horrors were tiny worlds ruled by rules. No matter how well she exploited loopholes, she could only move within them.
"Y-you said I could live... the form said... pay interest and I can leave..."
[1.97 million won]
The newbie's voice started sounding hollow.
"Why... why won't anyone answer? I'm... right here..."
Her presence was fading. Other survivors passed by without seeing her. Not deliberate ignoring. She was being erased from the world, unrecognizable.
"Please... say something...! What happens to me?!"
She wailed, reaching for Han Yujin's arm. But her hand passed through like a ghost.
And whoosh. A black arm-like thing appeared from thin air, dragging her away.
Terror-maxed scream erupted, but it reached no one.
Soon, her form scattered like heat haze. Gone completely. As if she'd never been.
Han Yujin was posting on the gallery as usual.
"Hm."
Han Yujin tilted her head. Why'd I post this? No clue, but it was up. Perfect aggro bait.
Gallery blew up: 'What crazy shit is this lunatic plotting now?', 'Expert help? Who you threatening?', 'Poor bastard whoever it is', 'Pls don't threaten the anomaly pls pls pls.' All shocked af, but Han Yujin's lips curled slyly.
Kang Ye-rin felt her whole body tremble like a leaf.
Something had definitely happened just now. A terrified newbie talking to Han Yujin, wailing, vanishing in horror right in front of her.
Or did it?
Memory foggy like mist. Just a lingering dread of something awful, but details slipped away. Chilling dissonance raised goosebumps.
This place was dangerous. Their so-called 'mine'—supposedly safe—was a slaughterhouse trading cash for lives.
Trembling hands logged into company intranet for emergency report.
Reply in under 3 minutes. But it shattered her hopes.

"...What?"
Figure it out yourselves. Death sentence, basically.
Blood drained from Kang Ye-rin's face. Rage and betrayal parched her lips.
She'd always been the company's loyal dog. And now... discarded?
Then, voice from behind made her shoulders twitch.
"So, how's it feel, Section Chief? Told ya. No such thing as free lunch."
Han Yujin. That smug, all-seeing smirk looking down at her.
"Wh-what! What do you know?!"
Han Yujin shrugged, extending her arm. Blood droplets plopped from it.
"Wh-what? Bleeding? What am I supposed to do?"
"Not the blood. Read the writing."
User-Only Account Total Assets Exceed Twice Loan + Interest Value → Vanish.
Pen-scrawled like a tattoo. Creepy note method wrinkled Kang Ye-rin's nose.
"No notepad? Then just say it."
"You think I would? Must've been a memo that couldn't vanish."
"What?"
"Something vanished. Dunno what. Why else carve it on my arm like a psycho?"
Kang Ye-rin couldn't agree. ...You are a psycho.
In her eyes, Han Yujin was top-tier crazy among survivors.
