How Did Our First Date End Up at a Sex Shop (2)
“Mm… okay.”
“……Hah.”
As if something had possessed us, we went up to the fifth floor of the shop—the very top of the building.
The fifth floor, as I’d said before, was the one marked For Special Night. Judging by the name alone, I had a feeling it sold things far more obscene than anything on the floors below.
Stuff even more filthy than sex toys, huh…
I didn’t have the faintest idea what that might be—or rather, I had a vague, sneaking suspicion, but I wasn’t about to say it out loud. It would’ve made me look like a complete degenerate.
“……Oppa.”
Seolhwa hesitated at the fifth-floor entrance and glanced back at me. She didn’t say a word, but the way she fidgeted made it clear she wanted me to go first. I swapped places with her without a second thought, gripped the handle, and pushed the door open.
Ding-a-ling.
The entrance was dark. Afraid she might trip, I took her hand lightly and stepped carefully inside—only to find the whole place lit in a wash of red and pink that immediately called a red-light district to mind.
…Whoa.
Yeah. This was definitely the For Special Night floor. They’d gone all-in on the concept, and I found myself getting nervous for no good reason.
I snuck a glance sideways. Seolhwa seemed to be feeling the same way—her cheeks, caught in the pink lighting, had gone faintly flushed.
“Seolhwa, watch your step.”
“Okay…”
There was lighting, sure, but it was still darker than I’d expected. We moved slowly, hand in hand, until a floor directory poster came into view.
From where we stood, the left side was labeled Fifty Shades of Grey Special Memorial Hall, and the right side read Where Love Deepens… ♡.
I’d heard of Fifty Shades of Grey before, so I had a rough idea what that side would be like. But Where Love Deepens… ♡? I had no clue what kind of concept that was supposed to be.
If I went with the most obvious assumption, it was probably some place for… activities I didn’t particularly want to say out loud. But this wasn’t a love hotel. Surely they weren’t openly encouraging that.
“……”
“……Ah— ahem.”
In the middle of those inappropriate thoughts, my eyes met Seolhwa’s. She immediately looked away, flustered, and stared hard at the floor as if it had personally offended her.
……I gave her hand a gentle squeeze and led her to the left.
And sure enough—true to a memorial hall for a sensual romance novel like Fifty Shades of Grey—the very first things waiting for us were tools of distinctly unusual shapes, lined up in a neat row.
The first thing I saw was a model of a human hand. A palm the size of a pot lid with five enormous fingers attached, each joint carefully segmented so they could move independently. The intended use was pretty obvious.
You were supposed to manipulate those fingers however you liked and put them to work however you preferred.
“Ahem…”
It might not have been that, of course—but Seolhwa seemed to be thinking along the same lines. Her face went red as she stared at the giant fingers.
It was an extremely cute reaction, and my eyes lingered—but as a guy, looking at that finger model for too long felt a little rough, so I took her hand and moved us to the next display.
“……Whoa.”
The second shelf held silver handcuffs, a blindfold, a gag, a long, fluffy dog-tail model, and a pair of ankle cuffs.
Every single one of them had clearly been designed with a very particular kind of play in mind. Among them, Seolhwa’s eyes lit up at the dog-tail model; she carefully picked it up.
“Wow… whoa. It’s so fluffy…”
But beneath the soft-looking dog-tail fur, a gleaming metal plug peeked out just slightly.
So my guess had been right. It was the kind of product you inserted into a certain part of the body.
“Oppa, do you want to feel it? The fur is really soft—just like a real dog’s tail.”
“Ah— yeah.”
I reached out and stroked it lightly. Soft, just like she’d said. But given the thoroughly impure purpose of every tool in here, the moment I put my hand on it, weird images started flooding in uninvited.
Someone with a dog tail swishing their hips. Someone on a bed, toying with a dog tail and trying to seduce me.
…I’ve lost it.
Time to shut down the garbage imagination.
I came back to my senses a beat too late, set the dog tail down, and looked at the handcuffs instead. Those, too, had clearly been made with that kind of play in mind—the design was pretty shameless.
Fluffy fur lined the metal where it would touch skin. Handcuffs made purely for the wearer’s comfort and for visual pleasure.
They didn’t look like they had any real restraining power. Slap these on a criminal and they’d snap right out of them and run.
“Wow… so handcuffs like this exist too…”
Seolhwa, studying them with interest, undid the lock.
“Oppa, will you put them on my wrists for me?”
“It might hurt. You sure?”
“Yeah, it’s fine. I’ve always wanted to try them on.”
…What’s gotten into her.
I pretended not to hear that last part, let it slide, and fastened the cuffs around her wrists.
Seolhwa, fur-lined handcuffs dangling from her wrists, seemed fascinated by her own appearance. She waved her arms this way and that, then looked at me.
“Oppa, put the gag on me too.”
“The gag? Which one—this?”
“Ah— yes. The round one.”
The gag she meant was a kind of ball gag—the type that forces a large sphere between the lips. The kind you see all the time in certain videos. Ball gag, I think they call it in English.
“Put this on me, and then take a picture. Just one.”
“Mm… okay.”
I looped the leather straps hanging from either end of the sphere around the back of her head, secured them, and made her part her lips so I could set the ball between them.
And just like that, the complete Seolhwa was born—handcuffs and gag both in place. She herself probably had no idea, but right now she looked like the perfect fulfillment of every guy’s filthy fantasy. Filthy. Ridiculously so.
…Damn.
Looking at her like that—gagged, cuffed—a strange, illicit thrill kept rising in my chest. I covered my mouth without thinking. Seolhwa, of course, had no idea what was going through my head; she just urged me with her eyes to hurry up and take the picture.
“Mm— mmph— mmp!”
“……Ah. Hang on.”
I pulled out my phone and snapped the shot quickly. Click. With a loud shutter sound, Seolhwa’s image filled the tiny screen.
Besides the ones I’d show her, I quietly selected a few extras for personal keeping and moved them into a secret folder. Then I took the gag off and held the gallery out for her to see.
“Here. Look.”
“……Ah.”
Her face went scarlet in an instant. Seeing herself in a short T-shirt and tennis skirt, handcuffed and gagged, seemed to have finally made her self-conscious.
Thinking I’d tease her a little, I picked up the blindfold.
“Seolhwa, want to do the blindfold too and take another one?”
“Huh? Ah… um. That’s…”
She couldn’t quite answer, but she didn’t look unwilling either—just shy, fidgeting as she peeked up at me.
It was a more cooperative reaction than I’d expected, and I got a little embarrassed myself. I quietly set the blindfold back down and unlocked her cuffs.
“Oppa… you like the blindfold better than the handcuffs, don’t you…?”
I stalled for a long moment before answering.
“……No. I don’t.”
“Then which one do you like best out of these?”
“Out of these…?”
I looked at the display under the weight of her question.
Handcuffs. Blindfold. Gag. Ankle cuffs. Dog tail with a plug.
Every last one of them was maniac-tier merchandise.
“……”
All five were catastrophic options, but if I had to pick one, the blindfold was at least the most wholesome.
I indicated it with my eyes. Seolhwa stared at the blindfold for a long, long second—then a meaningful little smile curved her lips.
“Hmm. I see. So Oppa’s preference is… the blindfold, huh…?”
“……Let’s go.”
I grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the display across the way before she could get any more ideas. This side was lined with masks of every shape and design.
“Oppa, don’t these look like the ones from foreign movies? You know—the kind nobles wear at parties and things.”
“Mm. Yeah.”
Just like she’d said, they were the sort of masks I’d seen plenty of times in foreign films—the ones women of the aristocracy wore at operas, balls, and parties.
Less sexy, more elegant. Anyway, I’d only ever seen them on screen; this was the first time I’d seen them in person.
Curious, I picked a few up, set them down, even held one up to my face. Seolhwa went one better—she actually put one on and shot me a sidelong look.
“Heh. Oppa. How do I look?”
Her tone was unusually haughty compared to usual. As if a butterfly mask could change her personality overnight.
I gently lifted the mask off her face and said, low and quiet,
“You’re pretty.”
“Ah…”
The second the mask came off, she snapped right back to normal and went shy. The way she avoided my eyes and still snuck glances at me was so cute I couldn’t help smiling as I took her hand again.
“Shall we go to the other side now?”
“……Okay.”
We’d more or less covered the Fifty Shades of Grey memorial hall. Next up was the right-hand side: Where Love Deepens… ♡.
We walked at an easy pace, intending to look carefully—and then I saw them. Clothes hanging thickly from a wire-mesh wall.
The sizes were small, so not men’s. We stepped closer together and found they were women’s clothes—specifically, what people call cosplay outfits.
A maid uniform short enough that it would bare cleavage and thighs. A similarly abbreviated, modified school uniform. A bikini Santa-girl costume. A sheer babydoll that would leave almost nothing to the imagination. Crotchless panties. A bra that looked like it would show the nipples. A dog collar with a leash. Cat ears and a plug-attached tail…
Every single piece had clearly been made for thoroughly impure purposes. No wonder the right-hand section was called Where Love Deepens… ♡.
Every outfit was outrageous without exception. I turned my head without thinking—and locked eyes with Seolhwa.
“……”
“……”
“……Um, Oppa.”
“Y-yeah?”
“S-so… you came all the way up here with me, right…?”
“Mm. Yeah?”
“Calling it a reward feels weird, but… if you’re okay with it… I was thinking I might buy one of the outfits you like…”
“……”
“……Oppa. Which one do you like best?”
