If the Junior Messes Up, the Senior Gets Punished
Dohyung lost all track of time as he savagely beat Jiseon. To him, her agonized screams were like the most exquisite acapella melody, each cry sending shivers of dark pleasure down his spine. The shrieks gradually grew weaker, until finally she fell completely silent.
“Hmm… Passed out already? How disappointing. I’m pretty sure I lasted a lot longer than that.”
Dohyung grabbed a fistful of Jiseon’s hair, yanking her limp head up as he muttered to himself. He glanced at the watch on his wrist.
“It’s already one in the morning… Up we go. Time for bed. Oh, right—Nabi’s still here.”
He dropped Jiseon’s head, stretched, and only then noticed Jia still frozen in Position One.
“Nabi, you can relax now.”
“Ugh… Thank you, Master…”
Jia, who had been kneeling with her forehead pressed to the floor for what felt like over two hours, staggered upright. At last free from her Master’s command, she let out a shaky breath and stretched her stiff limbs in every direction.
“It’s late, but… do you need the bathroom? You can shower if you want.”
“Then… may I take a quick shower, Master?”
“By all means.”
Dohyung unfastened the collar around her neck and let her go. Jia practically dashed into the bathroom before he could change his mind. She frantically scooped out the semen he had pumped inside her earlier, fingers working quickly. No matter what, she had no desire to carry his child. She prayed it would never happen—unaware that his magic had already made conception impossible.
While Jia showered, Dohyung conjured a warp space with a casual wave of his hand and pulled out everything he needed. There was no one around to witness his magic, after all. Walking back and forth to his room would have been a waste of time.
First, he selected tools to restrain the unconscious Jiseon. He fastened the same heavy iron collar Jia had worn on her first day around Jiseon’s neck, then bolted a chain to the wall and locked it in place. Dohyung found himself strangely curious about what tomorrow morning would bring. Would the girl who had once beaten him mercilessly on a rainy day glare at him with the same defiance as before? Or would she tremble in terror at the mere sight of him?
Next, as promised to Jia, he took out a clock and mounted it above the entrance. No more excuses about losing track of time. Now he had a perfect excuse to punish her if she slipped up.
When Jia finally emerged from the shower, Dohyung had already poured a small amount of cereal and water into her dog bowl.
“Come here. It’s late, but you should eat something.”
“Ah… Thank you, Master!”
In truth, Jia had been left alone for so long under the guise of “free time” that she hadn’t eaten since breakfast. Her stomach had been growling. She quickly threw on her uniform, rushed over, and dropped to her knees in front of the bowl.
“Thank you for providing this meal for Nabi once again. I will eat with gratitude.”
“Yeah, yeah. Finish that and get some sleep. See you in the morning. If that bitch wakes up… well, maybe you two can have a nice, heartfelt reunion chat. Heh.”
Dohyung chuckled darkly and left the basement. Jia bowed in Position One as he departed, then, the moment he was gone, she attacked the cereal and water with desperate hunger. The portion was smaller than usual, but she was so ravenous that she finished it in moments.
“Haa… At least my stomach’s full now… Oh, there’s a clock now. No more using ‘I didn’t know the time’ as an excuse…”
Jia muttered to herself as she noticed the new clock. She turned her head toward Jiseon, who still lay motionless. The girl was slumped a short distance away, iron collar locked around her neck.
Thanks to the longer chain on her own collar, Jia could reach her. She crept closer.
“Hey… Jiseon? Are you okay?”
She poked Jiseon’s body with a finger, but there was no reaction. Worried she might actually be dead, Jia checked her breathing. The steady rise and fall of her chest brought relief. Still, Jiseon showed no sign of waking. Jia returned to her own spot.
She wasn’t a doctor; there was nothing she could do to help. Besides, it was late and she was exhausted. She didn’t want to oversleep and earn another punishment from Dohyung. So Jia pulled the blanket over herself and fell asleep, saving her strength for tomorrow.
The next morning, Jia woke at what had become her usual time. The clock read past 7:30. She didn’t know the exact hour without a clock before, but she clearly remembered Dohyung saying he always came down at eight.
“You awake?”
Jiseon’s voice from right beside her made Jia’s head snap around.
“Jiseon! You’re conscious!”
Jia cried out in genuine relief. She had worried Jiseon might still be unconscious when she opened her eyes, but the other girl seemed lucid.
“How’s your body?”
“Haa… Still hurts like hell… but it’s weird. Nothing feels broken. How the fuck did he hit me to make it feel like this?”
Jiseon muttered as she examined herself. Having beaten plenty of people herself, she knew how easily bones could shatter. Yesterday she had thought every bone in her body was being crushed. Yet here she was, almost completely unharmed. It was shocking.
“By the way… where the hell are we?”
“I… I don’t really know either…”
Jia answered weakly. She wanted to know the answer to that question more than anyone. Life in the basement was slowly becoming familiar, but the desire to escape had never faded.
“What the fuck is Kim Dohyung even doing? Ugh… everywhere he hit me yesterday still aches…”
Jiseon winced as she pressed on the bruised areas. The fact that she exercised regularly was the only reason she could endure it. If he had done the same thing to Jia, the girl’s mind would have shattered long ago.
“Honestly, I don’t know much… I’ve been trapped here and… the things he’s done to me…”
As the two talked, footsteps approached from outside the basement door. Jia instantly caught the sound, stopped speaking, and hurried into position to greet her Master.
“Hey! What are you suddenly doing?”
Jiseon stared in confusion as Jia abruptly stood and fixed her gaze on the door.
“We were in the middle of talking, why—”
“Good morning~?”
The basement door opened just as Jiseon tried to question her. Dohyung stepped inside.
“Good morning, Master!”
The instant she saw him, Jia dropped into Position One and greeted him respectfully.
“That’s my good Nabi. Did you sleep well?”
“Thanks to the blanket Master gave me, I’ve been having very comfortable nights lately.”
Jia answered while still holding the posture. Jiseon watched the scene with utter disbelief. She couldn’t tell if this was reality or some fever dream.
“Oh, you’re awake too. Yesterday was pretty fun, wasn’t it? I enjoyed myself immensely.”
Dohyung flashed a cruel smile at the now-conscious Jiseon.
“You…”
“Well, we’re going to be seeing a lot of each other from now on, so let’s have plenty of fun. Nabi, you can stand up now.”
“Thank you, Master.”
Watching Jia instantly obey, Jiseon felt her mind reel. She didn’t want to understand what was happening. Had Jia been beaten into submission like her? Or had that monster done something even worse?
“Alright then, Nabi. As you saw yesterday, that thing over there is my new slave who’ll be living with you from now on. A fresh recruit.”
“What? Slave?”
Jiseon exploded when he pointed at her.
“You crazy bastard! Why the hell would I be a slave?!”
“Ha… If anyone’s crazy, it’s you. Shut that noisy mouth. That’s an order.”
“Hah, you’ll beat me again if I yell? Go ahead and try it, you son of a bitch!”
Dohyung easily read the fear behind Jiseon’s aggression. Like a small dog barking loudly to hide its terror when cornered, she was desperately trying to mask her dread with anger.
“Then I won’t hold back. You really thought I went easy on you yesterday?”
“What?”
The moment the confused word left her mouth, Dohyung closed the distance in a flash. Jiseon instinctively swung a fist, but he sidestepped with minimal movement, hooked her leg, and sent her crashing down.
“Ugh!”
The chain on her iron collar stopped her from hitting the floor completely, leaving her in an awkward kneeling position.
“Let me give you a little taste. This is what real pain feels like.”
Jiseon felt something press against the middle of her spine. Then unbearable agony shot through her nervous system and exploded throughout her entire body.
“KYAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!”
Dohyung had simply pressed a finger against her spine, lightly stimulating the nerves. Normally such an action could cause paralysis, but he had no such concerns. A little stimulation followed by healing magic was all it took.
“Kk… kghhh…”
The pain was unlike anything Jiseon had ever experienced. She couldn’t even stand. She had been beaten many times during training or by her father, but this was on a completely different level.
Jia covered her ears at the horrific scream and looked away. In her heart, she felt a small, guilty sense of relief. At least he hadn’t used that kind of violence on her. When she had first met Dohyung in the basement, she thought being slapped or hit with a switch was the worst pain imaginable. Compared to what Jiseon was suffering, those were nothing. If it had been her instead, she would have already lost her mind and become a broken wreck.
“There. If you make any more annoying noises, I’ll make it hurt even worse than that. So bark all you want.”
Dohyung stood up as if nothing had happened and walked back to Jia. She quickly changed from covering her ears to standing at attention.
“Now, Nabi. It’s been a while—why don’t you recite the declaration? Our new recruit has no idea what it is.”
“Yes!”
“Listen carefully. You’ll have to memorize this too.”
The moment Dohyung finished speaking, Jia began reciting in a loud, clear voice.
First, Nabi swears from this moment on to obey every word spoken by Master Kim Dohyung.
Second, Nabi will faithfully carry out Master Kim Dohyung’s commands. Failure to do so will result in appropriate punishment.
Third, Nabi will place Master Kim Dohyung’s happiness above her own and devote herself fully to ensuring it.
Fourth, Nabi will always maintain her body and mind in the best condition to serve Master Kim Dohyung.
Fifth, Nabi will hold a heart full of gratitude for everything Master Kim Dohyung provides.
“Did you hear that? Just replace ‘Nabi’ with your own name and memorize it. Your name from now on is… Kkami! Got it, Kkami?”
“K-Kkami? What kind of bullshit is that?!”
Dohyung sighed as he looked at Jiseon, who was still glaring at him with defiant eyes.
“Ha… What a disobedient little thing. Whatever.”
He turned back to Jia.
“Nabi. What do I hate the most?”
“That would be… having to repeat myself.”
“Exactly. I really, really, really hate repeating myself. So it wouldn’t make sense for me to explain what I already taught you to this new Kkami, would it?”
For a moment Jia didn’t understand what he meant. But after thinking briefly, realization dawned on her.
“Ah, yes, Master! I… will properly educate Kkami.”
“Good, good! As expected, the slave who’s been here longer catches on quickly.”
Dohyung stroked Jia’s head in approval. The kind gesture made her feel a flicker of pleasure, but it was quickly swallowed by growing anxiety. From experience, his gentle moods always preceded something terrible.
“So Nabi will be training Kkami… Now, this is purely hypothetical—I don’t think it’ll ever happen—but if Kkami still refuses to listen after being educated… whose fault would that be?”
“That’s…”
Jia couldn’t answer right away. She knew exactly what he wanted to hear, but saying it would cross a line she could never return from. Still, she also knew that staying silent would only lead to the same result.
So, with no choice left, she gave the answer he wanted.
“It would be… my fault… for failing to educate her properly?”
Dohyung smiled with deep satisfaction.
“Of course. If Kkami misbehaves, it means Nabi didn’t train her well enough, so Nabi will be the one punished. If you don’t want to be punished, just educate her properly. Simple, right?”
