Super Rookie Streamer Pudge Dice
A few days passed.
In that time, E Revolution Gaming picked up one win and one loss, my tier stayed the same, Aranggaiger claimed she'd figured out the game but got demoted from Master while queuing, and my stream viewer count ticked up a bit.
The reason for the increase? Yeah, I hate to say it, but it was Aranggaiger.
Yeah, that was it.
Right now, my stream's viewer count had spiked thanks to nonstop promotion in Aranggaiger's League of Eternity stream gallery—shortened to LoE Stream Gal.
Peak viewers used to hit 9, but after Aranggaiger's spam flood, it broke 10. Even after all that shitposting, scraping together 10 randos is legendary. Nah, actually, getting 10 people (probably one being Aranggaiger herself) from that mess is the real miracle.
That said, does this bitch actually have some grudge against me?
Of course, I couldn't straight-up sell out Aranggaiger just to prove it.
No way that was happening. Instead, I immediately leaked the chat Aranggaiger sent me, selling her out on stream.
But,
Obviously, the idiots who came straight from those spam posts weren't gonna buy it.
And on top of that,
Aranggaiger lit another fire in her chat window, which I'd left open to sell her out.
You guys find this hilarious?
A sigh escaped me naturally.
Honestly, it wasn't that big a deal. I'm no huge streamer sparking real controversy, and even if it was, my viewer count started at zero anyway.
If it bugged me, I could just ban everyone and call it a day. Aranggaiger and I weren't super close or anything, so ignoring her worked too.
Truly nothingburger. The reason I hadn't banned Aranggaiger or those trolls yet? This mess felt kinda fun.
She did it "for me" (not totally sure), but it was straight trolling. And the idiots biting the bait weren't fans.
But still, something about it—dunno what—was honestly funny.
Back when I was a pro, the agency made me stream. I'd turn on cam, chat a bit, but it was never real streaming. I was LoE-obsessed; streams were just games with zero extras.
Donations got a thanks, but no real viewer interaction or witty banter. My stream was for diehards only—Tundra's most boring, they called it.
I was playing games, not streaming.
This wasn't proper streaming either. Just some weirdo troll Aranggaiger latching on, drawing more idiots to spam dumb shit.
No way this counted as real streaming, yet it felt like I was actually doing it. Or at least, the absurdity was enjoyable.
Maybe I'm an exhibitionist. Or going nuts.
Ah, whatever.
I play LoE when my mood's off.
By the time I finished two games, viewers had halved to 5. Back as a pro, I'd pull over a hundred easy.
Thankfully, no Aranggaiger snipes during those. Solo games all mine.
Won the first clean, lost the second clean. Staring at chat—even sparse—distracted me a bit, maybe underperformed.
"My real skill," hilarious. Haven't shown it properly since that day.
Take back the "fun" part? Nah, whatever. Yeah, I sucked. Current me couldn't win anyway, but by old standards, losing here meant I choked.
Third queue... and the feared disaster hit.
Top: Aranggaiger
Jungle: ShortSpearPoguKing
Mid: PudgeDice
ADC: DoReMiFaSoLaSi
Support: GG BABE
...Separate from her trolling, I couldn't exactly welcome teaming with Aranggaiger.
Her mechanics? Solid. Carry potential? Solid. But her ego was too strong—doesn't listen worth shit. She listens to me somewhat, but limits exist.
Worse, she plays in her own world. All or nothing: one misplay snowballs endlessly, one hot streak leaves you uneasy.
So I naturally pick supports for her: Saintess, Shrine Maiden, Druid. Mid supports like Lighthouse Keeper or Shepherd were niche, but too ops-heavy for her synergy.
Winrate with her was decent thanks to my adjustments, but forced picks and chaotic games explained why I dreaded it.
Another inevitable sigh.
Then a chat caught my eye.
Yi Seong-gyu? Not super familiar, but big-name LoE streamer probably.
ShortSpearPoguKing... him, huh.
Banned anti-carry tank Guardian first, checked teammates' histories—no red flags. Everyone else Master, no bad lanes thankfully.
While Aranggaiger muddied chat solo, bans ended. Enemy didn't target her specifically, but sliced most mid supports. Only viable left: Druid.
Hesitating on Druid, teammate snatched—ally jungler took it. Druid works jungle/mid/support, so fine.
No need to force for Aranggaiger now. Thought it over, hovered Taoist.
Taoist: Mage with mobility and melee response. If she yolo-dives, I'd dive too for teamfight chaos. No point telling her not to anyway.
Picks wrapped smoothly, game started. Spotted oddity in builds.
Never a straight path, huh.
Druid's priest-class but versatile, tons of offbuilds.
Spearfighter: Druid wielding spear aggressively instead of staff/bow, fitting centaur concept.
Non-warrior so damage light, but utility-focused—not full troll. Was meta once, niche now.
Dunno Yi Seong-gyu's style, but streaming means not intentional troll.
Problem: Ruins my "Druid supports top" plan. Even with her mechanics, Master tier. Rarely god-carries like first meet; no support means she dives and dies.
Should've checked pick screen. My bad.
Oh well. Games have wins and losses. Mindset's changed since pros—not desperate to win, accept when needed.
Just roam top more.
Game went pretty rough.
Enemy mid: Engineer. Nerfed but still strong laner. Taoist clears fast, mobile—not easy pushover.
Skipped direct trades, cleared and roamed. Got results: Joined jungler skirmish for 2 kills, split first Epic Monster Dragon 1-1.
Dragons spawn 6x, permanent stat buffs per stack. 4+ stacks grant team-wide permanent dragon-specific buffs—gamechangers. Can't gift 'em.
Anyway, 1 Dragon stack, kills, top side decent.
Aranggaiger on Berserker eating it from enemy "ADC" Fire Archer top, but surviving.
Bot the issue: Ally Ranger/Forest Keeper duo getting wrecked by enemy Outlaw/Magic Scholar. Engineer global ult ganks worsened; both 2/0 already. Bot collapsed.
Proposed swap to fix fire. Duo vs Engineer beats duo vs monsters. Enemy might follow, but unlikely to send global ult Engineer bot over letting duo grow vs me.
But,
Yeah, solo queue gonna solo queue.
Sighed, half-given up. Aranggaiger Berserker just surviving hits, mid/jg winning but bot doomed.
While Ranger trolled, invested top side. He added 1 death, but we got kill on Berserker.
Third Dragon soon. 1-1 split so far, could afford one more. But bot gap huge; ceding it seals loss.
Luckily, prior skirmish burned enemy ADC flash/ult. Our shot. Delay more, Outlaw flash up—impossible to catch.
No real inish on our comp; key was poke from range, then engage. I poked to chunk 'em.
Enemy Outlaw ate poke, half HP. Perfect window. Risky, but right call. Dragging meant loss anyway.
Gamble, but had to roll.
I flashed forward, diving the Outlaw.
