Full Brainrot Commitment... And the Inevitable Backlash
It's been about five days since I steamrolled the suspicions with pure VTuber power under the stream title [Sure, If You Want a Transformation That Bad, I'll Do It Again Today / 20 viewers].
Even though I'd personally dodged it, the viewers were pretty persistent in clinging on, but today felt like the end of it. The ones who'd seen the transformation firsthand were starting to waver amid the growing doubts from latecomers causing a split, and now even the eyewitnesses were backing off.
I wondered why, and turns out the conflict between the government and the awakeners was heating up. It had become such a sensitive issue that even if they exposed it, there'd be no payoff (source: Lee Jeong-ah). So aside from a few diehards, most were treating the whole incident as just aggro bait for RP.
"But is the situation really that bad?"
"...Huh."
Whoa. Way more UFC than I thought. But more importantly.
"What's this conscription thing?"
"Fair enough."
The shocking remark flew by, but the follow-up seemed legit, so I opened the search bar.
"......What."
Just the headlines alone spread a seriously ominous vibe. Sure, I don't pay much attention to politics, but my position's a bit different. No good getting tangled in heavy stuff like this, so back button...
"Huh. Magical girl? My junior went rogue?"
...I absentmindedly clicked in after spotting that headline.
The chat exploded thanks to that. Hmm. Honestly, is it really that bad? Well, yeah, the current mess does feel that intense. My magical girl juniors have racked up serious fame and feats. Sure, magical girls in a gate story? But dig too deep and the isekai-returned magical girl like me has nothing to say.
No wonder even my streams are pulling aggro traffic lately. And Divine Blaze, the ringleader among those juniors, makes it hit harder.
So as someone RPing, chiming in is risky.
"Well, a junior's a junior, what can ya do."
That's what my brain says, but seeing those cute fledglings, how could my heart agree?
Chat reactions weren't great, but unavoidable. Even trying to be rational, my eyes revert to fledgling-gazing mode.
Wise move now: change the subject.
"But seriously, how'd my junior end up going rogue? This news has zilch details."
I didn't go wise~ Instead, dove into the article. Disappointing. Just title-bait, no new info. Viewers bought it, but meh.
"Hmm. That alone wouldn't make her bolt."
"Never met her."
Responsibility, huh. Not wrong, but not spot-on either.
"Nah, it's basic racial traits."
"No. Means every magical girl has a solid baseline toughness."
Obvious, right? Magical girls aren't born warriors—they're young, pure girls. To transform and hero up, they need hefty 'corrections.'
"Mascots are prime example. Cute, reliable mentors always tending their mental health."
"Gal!"
What kinda deranged idiots. Daring to bring up Madoka Magica in a magical girl talk?
"True magical girls losing hope means losing their identity! Misfortune is conceptual trash to incinerate! Despair is a horrific, unspeakable evil tumor! Anyone spreading this poison in the magical girl world—I'll get 'em someday!"
"Take that back!"
Crack!
"Ah."
Screwed up. Steamrolled and shotgun-blasted the keyboard after ages.
"Nah, didn't break."
Every time she smashes, I wonder what power comes from that tiny body to shatter keyboards...
...Yeah, it broke. Even untransformed, repeated magical girl shifts make the body... ah, said this before? Anyway, magic itself, so physical limits transcended like mine. Even pros controlling unconsciously output disasters when emotions spike.
Why the pretentious explanation? Desk split under the keyboard too. Good thing off-cam, spared from the vulture pack. Sole consolation.
"Erm. Can't stream like this, right?"
"Yeah. Yeah. Fine, fine."
Apparently keyboard and desk too soft to hurt my body. Fixing every time's a chore; maybe get sturdier stuff.
Repeating my screw-up template, I announced end of stream to viewers.
"Alright, logging off. Back tomorrow with fixed keyboard."
Dunno if I can. Even with terminal bullshit syndrome, can't suppress magical girl roots. Don't wanna either.
Got sidetracked, forgot my point. Do it tomorrow. Viewers adapted, reacting normally by end. Brainrot fully? Proverb worthy. Half-ass dodge worse than art-tier commitment...!
Or so I thought, to yesterday's cocky me.
Got cocky. Bad call? Punishment time.
"Erm."
No, I wasn't mocking the junior...
...Not the time for jokes anyway.

The stream was straight-up nuked by this rare 'controversy' blast after so long. Yeah, underestimated it bad. What brainrot proverb? Just tactical nuke delay.
