Time for a Snack Party!
“This is it. Our dorm.”
Pointing with a pale, slender finger, Han Se-rin looked incredibly excited.
“Is that so?”
Park Geon-woo, his hands full of convenience store bags, turned his gaze toward the door of Serazade's dorm.
So this is where Se-rin and her members live.
Fitting for a mega-popular girl group like Serazade, they seemed to occupy the entire tenth floor of Building 101.
And as he had noticed since entering the lobby on the ground floor, the security was top-notch, just as one would expect for Serazade.
Ding-dong. Ding-dong. Meanwhile, Se-rin pressed the doorbell.
Click. The door swung open immediately, as if someone had been waiting right behind it.
“Yeon-doo!”
“Se-rin? Did you have fun? How was it?”
“Yup! It was the best!”
Se-rin threw herself into Lim Yeon-doo's arms.
“You seem to be in a great mood.”
Yeon-doo smiled, clearly pleased by Se-rin's unusually affectionate behavior today.
“What about the snacks? The drinks?”
From behind Yeon-doo's back, Seo Ra-hee immediately started looking for the snacks.
“Ah, I have them right here.”
“Hello, Writer-nim. Thank you for buying us snacks.”
Even while salivating over the food, Ra-hee didn't forget to greet him politely.
“Not at all. I'm sorry for dropping by so late in the night.”
Geon-woo apologized first.
Yeon-doo shook her head.
“No, don't worry about it. We usually finish our schedules late, so we often eat late-night snacks around this time anyway. You're very welcome here. Won't you come in, Writer-nim?”
“Ah, yes. Thank you. Excuse me.”
Tense with nervousness, Geon-woo stepped into the entryway.
The moment he stepped inside, a pleasant fragrance—a mix of cosmetics and perfume—tickled his nose.
“Geon-woo, take off your shoes and come inside.”
Se-rin guided Geon-woo, who was still standing awkwardly in the entryway.
After taking off his shoes and stepping inside, Geon-woo was surprised by the sight of the dorm.
It was spacious since they occupied the entire tenth floor, but it was also incredibly clean.
“This is how we usually live, Geon-woo.”
Se-rin spoke as if begging for a compliment.
“Really? You must be so busy and tired with your schedules, but you still clean it yourselves?”
“That's not true. Se-rin texted us just a moment ago, so we had to clean up in a rush.”
It was Ra-hee.
“Pardon?”
“Ah, no, it's not! Geon-woo! Seo Ra-hee? What is wrong with you all of a sudden?”
Se-rin quickly covered Ra-hee's mouth.
“I-I can't lie. Mmph, mmph.”
The petite Ra-hee squirmed in Se-rin's arms.
Come to think of it, Se-rin had been texting someone with a very serious expression ever since they reached the entrance of Building 101.
She must have ordered Ra-hee to clean up immediately.
“There's also something interesting on the sofa over there.”
Ju Ja-yoon pointed toward the sofa.
Just as Geon-woo's gaze naturally drifted in that direction—
“Ah!”
Se-rin dashed over and blocked the sofa.
“Cough.”
Geon-woo choked on his own spit.
He had definitely caught a glimpse of something.
It was white, with frills...
And it was a bit too large to be an eye mask.
“That's Ja-yoon's underwear, Geon-woo!”
Se-rin quickly shoved the item behind the sofa and made an excuse.
Ja-yoon smirked.
“My underwear? Isn't that even more of a problem, Han Se-rin? In front of the writer?”
“Huh? O-Oh, you're right. Actually, it's mine... I was just so busy since early this morning...”
Se-rin pouted.
She had wanted to show only her perfect side to Geon-woo.
But ever since they arrived at the dorm, her flaws were being exposed one after another.
“Haha.”
Geon-woo let out a soft chuckle.
Se-rin's flustered state was actually quite adorable.
“Hmph. Geon-woo, let's go to my room first. Just you wait, all of you!”
Glaring at her members, Se-rin tugged at Geon-woo's sleeve.
She felt like she would suffer even more embarrassment if they stayed in the living room.
“W-Wait a minute, Se-rin!”
But Geon-woo felt differently.
He actually felt more at ease staying in the living room with the other Serazade members.
Yet Se-rin was dragging him by the sleeve, insisting they go to her room.
“Huh? What's wrong?”
Only when they reached her bedroom door did Se-rin tilt her head in confusion.
“Well, that's your bedroom, isn't it?”
“So?”
Se-rin looked as if she truly didn't see the issue.
Geon-woo chuckled.
I'm the only one getting nervous and awkward for no reason. Let's not do this, Geon-woo. It's rude to Se-rin's pure intentions.
Geon-woo thought it was strange how he was always so overly cautious.
After all, Se-rin had been pure and sincere at every moment, from their first meeting at the neighborhood park to the celebration party for his variety show appearance.
“I was just worried there might be something else strange in your room.”
Geon-woo offered a playful smile, teasing her on purpose.
“Ah! Just wait a moment!”
Se-rin rushed into her room.
Then, slam! The door shut tight.
It seemed she did have things to clean up after all, as the door showed no signs of opening.
Geon-woo's smile widened.
“Do you have a lot to clean up, Se-rin?”
“No, I don't!”
“Haha.”
Se-rin vehemently denied it from behind the door, and Geon-woo couldn't stop laughing.
A moment later.
“You can come in now.”
Se-rin's voice sounded much calmer now.
“Okay, I'm coming in. Whew.”
After taking a deep breath, Geon-woo grabbed the doorknob.
Her bedroom.
Geon-woo felt like he was experiencing a lifetime of events in a single night.
“Come on in, Geon-woo!”
With Se-rin's confident invitation, the door clicked open.
So this is what Se-rin's room looks like.
Entering her room, Geon-woo's face filled with surprise.
A room decorated entirely with pink bunny characters was definitely not what Geon-woo had imagined.
There were display cabinets lining the walls, packed with figurines.
And they were mostly from famous shonen anime and manga.
Even her computer was a high-end gaming PC, complete with a gaming chair.
“You think it's unexpected, don't you, Geon-woo?”
“Yes, to be honest.”
The Han Se-rin known through TV and media was closer to a chic, sophisticated "it girl."
The kind of person called a "walking luxury brand," draped in designer clothes from head to toe.
In fact, Brand C had achieved massive sales by featuring Se-rin as their main model.
“That's just my image as a celebrity. The real me is what you're looking at right now, Geon-woo.”
“I see.”
Geon-woo nodded slowly.
Knowing the real Han Se-rin that the public didn't know gave him a strange sense of pride.
“Oh? You play games like this too, Se-rin?”
Geon-woo was surprised to catch a glimpse of her computer desktop.
Several MMORPGs, the kind typically popular with male gamers, were installed.
“Yes. I play them sometimes after schedules or on my days off. I play with the members too.”
“Ah. Is that why there are computers in the living room?”
“Exactly. Do you play games too, Geon-woo?”
“Sometimes. Usually when my fellow writers invite me.”
“Wow! Then let's play games together too!”
Se-rin's face lit up.
She was thrilled at the thought of having another excuse to spend time with him.
Just then.
“Se-rin! It's time for the snack party!”
It was Yeon-doo.
“Okay! We're coming!”
After replying, Se-rin turned to Geon-woo.
“Let's go out.”
“Shall we?”
Having finished looking around her room, Geon-woo walked out to the living room with Se-rin.
“Huh?”
But the scene in the living room was a bit unusual.
Yeon-doo, Ja-yoon, and Ra-hee were all wearing hairbands for washing up.
“We usually take a shower and change into comfortable pajamas before having a snack party. The girls and I will go take a quick shower!”
“A s-shower?”
And with all the members together?
No matter how pure Geon-woo's intentions were, this felt far too unguarded.
“No peeking, okay?”
Ja-yoon winked at him.
“Cough, cough!”
Ja-yoon's joke made Geon-woo choke again.
“Ju Ja-yoon! Geon-woo is not that kind of person, okay? Even if you stripped naked, he wouldn't even bat an eye!”
“Is that so? Should I try it? Ra-hee?”
“Sure.”
Ja-yoon reached for her shoulder, pretending to pull down her sweater.
Ra-hee made a motion to pull off her tracksuit top.
“You guys... You're making the writer uncomfortable.”
Fortunately, Yeon-doo stopped Ja-yoon and Ra-hee.
“...”
Geon-woo was speechless.
First the female writers at the authors' gatherings, and now even the Serazade members were teasing him.
“The members must really like you, Geon-woo. They don't usually joke around like this.”
“Haha... Is that so?”
Se-rin whispered to him.
“Well then... I'm going to go shower with the girls, okay?”
As Se-rin went to shower with the members, Geon-woo was left all alone.
“Whew. Maybe I should set things up.”
The convenience store bags were still sitting on the kitchen table.
Geon-woo brought the bags over and neatly arranged the snacks, drinks, and non-alcoholic beer on the living room table.
“This should be enough.”
Just as he was about to sit on the sofa, a rich scent of shampoo tickled his nose.
“Geon-woo! I finished first and came out quickly. Did you wait long? Let's have our snack party now!”
“...”
Unlike the high-spirited Se-rin, Geon-woo couldn't bring himself to answer.
Her damp hair was pinned up.
Revealing her pale nape beneath it.
Her cheeks were flushed a soft peach, contrasting with her ivory skin.
Above all, wearing her pink bunny pajamas, Se-rin looked incredibly captivating—even to Geon-woo, who had absolutely no ulterior motives.
