The Solution
I've been talking with Ayoung and Yeeun about the events unfolding around us, and the more we discuss it, the more my head aches.
Ayoung says that beyond the whole world just watching South Korea, they will directly intervene.
Yeeun says that the most delicious bait is us, and that once they come in seriously, we'll need to prepare in advance.
We were walking a tightrope, but then we got caught in a sudden troll from Nayoung ajumma.
"Then how do you think about what those from the Women's Voice are saying?"
"It's the foolish talk of those South Korean mothers who are bursting with belly fat."
"I agree with Vice Chairwoman Yeeun as well. If you want to be proud as a woman, you have to fight for it yourself."
Both of them are healthy-minded because they are women who have claimed their positions themselves.
That's good.
After hearing their answers to the last question, I thought there was no more point in talking together, so I told them to go do their work and left them alone.
If I close my eyes and slowly divide the women in South Korea into categories, I can think of four main types.
The first is the normal woman full of concepts.
The second is the foolish young woman who blindly follows feminism without thinking.
The third is the woman who uses feminism as a necessary evil for her own benefit.
The fourth is just a dumb feminist.
Since there's no exact statistic on the ratio of these four, I can't say for sure, but looking at the one million women protesting in Gwanghwamun on the TV that's still broken, I can feel the scale of women using feminism.
South Korea is finished.
It's really screwed up.
One million people, not even naming their houses, how many are there?
Haa...
So, how do we solve this?
I felt the vibration of my smart phone ringing in my pocket, and wondered if it was already that time, so I looked up and checked—it was 9 o'clock.
"Yes... Park Seonghun speaking."
- It's been a while.
"Yes. Mr. President. While we haven't been in contact for a few days, you've done a lot of work?"
"I watched it really well."
- Really? Then I'm glad.
- I did as you said, and my approval rating, which was declining, has improved a lot.
- Especially in the North Korean region, it has almost returned to normal.
That's right.
That's how it is.
Until now, the North Korean region was under iron-fisted rule by the Kim family, but from their perspective, since the leader is indecisive, how would they see it?
They naturally withdraw support out of anxiety.
So, if they join feminism, it will rise again.
"But, Mr. President. If you suddenly apply for the dissolution of the unconstitutional party to the Constitutional Court, what do you think will happen?"
- Huh? I thought this was an action you'd really like, but from what you're saying, it seems not.
"Of course. Right now, the situation is on the verge of the President and the Women's Voice stabbing each other in the neck, and would I like that?"
But without telling me, suddenly turning on each other like that, what am I supposed to do?
Anyway, at this point, we need Nayoung ajumma.
Ajumma needs to become the representative of normal women, gain support from concept women, and ally with us to fight on our behalf.
The method Japan chose, which crushed feminism first, was this.
Women are the enemy of women.
By having Japanese men and normal women unite to break the contradictions that feminists talk about, and gaining societal respect for the value of fathers who take responsibility for the family even in Japan's famous economic downturn, they could crush feminism.
So, when feminism deems men as absolute strong, sets women as absolute weak, calls men's attacking actions as strong suppressing weak, and transforms their actions into underdog to justify everything,
we need women who will fight on our side.
- I see... I can think that way.
- But... aren't they monsters that our political circle raised?
- So, we should take responsibility and deal with them now.
Wow...
I know, right?
Starting from the ideological conflict they started first to make a show, through regional conflicts, and in the 2000s, they divided using gender conflicts?
Also, the cause of feminism is economic crisis, and if the food they ate and raised is based on the fundamental fear of men that women have and baseless discrimination, then education and politics made it possible for them to rise to the surface.
- I realized everything through our last call.
- So, no regrets.
- So, after the President and the Women's Voice go extinct, please return to Korea.
- Seonghun, I am asking you this.
Hmm...
From this conversation, I roughly understand what this ajumma is thinking.
By using ourselves, who have lost the people's trust after a week in Japan, as material to bring us back to Korea, and blocking the feminist party, the cancer of South Korea, from being reborn twice, they want to reverse everything to the original state.
This isn't bad either.
If we had done nothing and just watched quietly, the lawmakers with loose reins would have been unable to do anything, waiting for their impeachment motion, and it would have been obvious they'd be impeached, so they were going to bring even a feminist to 'Nongae'.
From our perspective, it's really not bad.
- No matter what, you are Koreans.
- And Koreans are happiest living in Korea.
- You have high value, so it might be easy to seek asylum in another country.
- But they will never embrace you and will only use you in the end.
- Again, think about the families waiting to meet you now, your children, and the women who are pregnant with those children.
- .. When I am impeached... your perception of the people I first mentioned will definitely change.
- So... please return to Korea now.
- South Korea always welcomes you, so don't worry.
The ajumma's trembling voice in my ear.
I can tell that the words she's saying now are her true feelings.
Nayoung ajumma wants to solve everything by sacrificing herself, giving up her ambition she truly wanted.
But this isn't enough.
This method has the inevitable probability that the oppressed feminists will live in some dirty place without sunlight.
And instead of solving their own blackening in a healthy way, they might dig through history's back to find feminism again to comfort themselves.
So, when feminism crawls out again like in Japan, instead of truly crushing them together, they close their mouths because they're afraid of getting hit for saying feminism is right, and crush others for their own comfort.
That can't be.
Absolutely can't.
And when it fails, they can't crawl out overseas like now.
By the way, young men like me might think this.
'Why are the generations of mothers and grandmothers who don't say anything about feminism, who have experienced real discrimination, but the daughter generation who hasn't experienced real discrimination is going crazy alone?'
The answer to this question is simple if you think about it.
The mother and grandmother generations experienced the gender roles that feminism denies actually working well in their bodies, so they know too well that fat talk like feminism doesn't work in reality.
Also, they saw that the discrimination and unfairness they experienced naturally resolved as time passed and generations changed.
Anyway, it's important to experience it yourself.
Not by someone telling you or roughly learning from books or videos, but by experiencing everything from start to finish yourself, getting hit and learning, you can never deny it and never forget it.
So, the problem with this feminism isn't enough with the lukewarm solution that Nayoung ajumma is talking about.
Instead of simply learning what's wrong in our generation and solving it and burying it, like the fear of the rice shortage in our country, it needs to be embedded in culture beyond people's memories.
'Men and women are biologically different from the start, so they have different gender strategies and values.'
'So, gender roles exist.'
'Therefore, the absolute gender equality that feminism talks about is a non-existent illusion, and gender equality can only exist besides equality of opportunity.'
These facts need to be embedded not only in everyone's minds but in the culture and values that our society shares and pursues.
Anyway, I understand the situation.
I understand Nayoung ajumma's thoughts.
So, the thinking is not over.
Since the water is already spilled, slowly dividing and eating away at the dumb feminist forces, since it's already happened across the water, let's use it.
"I understand what you are trying to say."
"Mr. President. But you know..."
"How about we do it this way?
Honestly, our country is already spewing noise and flames, trying to smash us against the wall before we can do anything,
so what's the difference if we make a mess too?
Right?
