Was she simply being suspicious?
No. That wasn't it. Those weren't the eyes of someone who doubted me.
"Here are the drinks and desserts you ordered! Please enjoy!"
Ah. There went my train of thought.
"Thank you."
"I got you a café latte, just like you asked, babe! And for dessert, a croffle and a bunch of other stuff."
A café latte arrived in front of me, finished with latte art. Beside it sat a drink so buried in toppings I couldn't even guess its name, along with a croffle and a cluster of plump, filling-stuffed donuts that looked genuinely good.
Jayeon hyung had told me that problems with imported goods had forced most cafés to shut their doors. So where the hell had all this cream and coffee come from? This place looked almost identical to a café from before the Upheaval.
"Hey, you know what? There used to be this cake I really, really loved, but the owner took it off the menu. Said they couldn't get the ingredients anymore..."
"Yeah?"
So it hadn't been completely unaffected after all.
"Yeah! A bunch of the drinks disappeared too. It's so sad."
"Hmm... I see. What kind did you like?"
"Well, you see—"
We took pictures and ate for a good while as I listened. Apparently this café had once offered all sorts of specialty items beyond the usual fare, but those had all vanished, leaving it as just another ordinary coffee shop. And once the ingredients they could still get ran out, they'd have to change the menu again.
I picked at this and that while she talked. Everything was good enough that I found myself wishing I could have tasted the dishes that were gone.
Was this another one of those things destined to disappear? I could faintly picture it — valuable things fading away as the world around them changed.
A shame. Not that there was anything I could do about it.
"How long do we have to stay here?"
"I don't know? At least another hour, I'd guess."
Even if they'd said they were coming from the moment we called, it would still take a while.
"Then, babe... I feel like people are starting to stare, and we've rested plenty.... Want to get out of here?"
It wasn't really that bad. Why was she acting like this?
"Sure."
"Yeah! Let's go."
"Alright. Let's go."
Fine by me. The less we were seen, the better — better to leave and find some empty stretch of road in the car.
We stacked our dishes on the tray they'd come with and carried it downstairs.
"Thanks, unni. It was great."
"Of course! If you liked it, please come again!"
This time the owner put on a proper service-industry smile.
"We will. Thank you — it was delicious. Could we get the check?"
"I can pay, you know...."
"Don't worry about it. Let's go."
My account was flush enough now that this was nothing. The government had finally deposited the living allowance and the support funds — a string of zeros I'd never seen in my life. All the money I'd scraped together so desperately over the years suddenly felt like pocket change. That feeling was really...
"So where should we go? We can't wander too far — we have to stay in this area. Know any spots around here?"
"Huh? Not really... Want to just drive?"
"Yeah?"
What was with her? Her face was flushed, too.
Even as we walked toward the car in the parking lot, Jeong Sujin clung to my arm the way she always did — and yet something was different. Her body temperature felt a little higher, and her hair, which fell all the way down her back, pressed against me so tightly I couldn't even read her expression.
It was an off-kilter kind of behavior, but I couldn't find the words to call it out. We reached the car in silence.
I opened the door of the Porsche I'd driven today, helped her in, and went to close it — only for her to raise a hand and stop me.
Why?
She didn't answer. Head still bowed so I couldn't see her eyes, she slowly shook it from side to side, blocking my attempt to shut the door.
She hesitated for a moment, then grabbed my jacket and pulled. I ended up half-falling over her as she drew me down into the seat, inhaling and exhaling in deep, ragged breaths.
"Hey..... I'm really not that kind of woman."
"Not what kind?"
Whether she didn't want to answer or simply couldn't, she said nothing — just pulled me in harder, dragging me fully into the car. Then she climbed on top of me.
Why did they all love mounting me so much? Jeong Sujin, Song Hanna, all of them.
Without a word, I reclined the seat as far as it would go, making it as comfortable as I could for the woman now straddling me.
I knew what this was. I wasn't some clueless protagonist from a novel who'd never heard of sex. I understood perfectly well what she was asking for. That didn't mean I was enough of an exhibitionist to fuck in a roofless car parked in a lot with CCTV running.
I slowly stroked her back, patting her gently.
"Let's just move somewhere else."
"......"
"Yeah? You got that?"
"..... Okay."
I sat up properly, gave her a short kiss, then moved to the driver's seat. I started the engine and drove toward the hill where we'd looked out at the ocean earlier, holding her hand the entire way except when I needed to shift.
She kept her head down, her hair falling to the side to block my gaze, but the hand I was holding and the skin I could see had flushed a deep red. I could almost hear her heartbeat.
What the hell had gotten this woman so worked up? I had no idea.
The raw desire to just get on with the sex that was clearly already on the table kept interfering with any attempt at rational thought. The ocean view I'd found so beautiful just a little while ago no longer registered at all. The only thing in my head was getting us somewhere safe as fast as possible.
Christ. Was I a pervert too?
We ended up back at that same hill — secluded, with a clear view of any car coming up, and the ocean spread out below. I parked, and as the fading rumble of the exhaust died away, I shrugged off my jacket, opened the door, and walked around to the passenger side.
Thump.
Thump.
My pupils dilated. Every sense in my body switched on. I could feel the blood exploding out of my hammering heart and racing through every inch of me. This filthy mind of mine was already painting pictures of what was about to happen, unbidden, and it was driving me insane.
How good would it feel? How intense? How filthy?
I opened the passenger door, pushed Jeong Sujin — still hanging her head — back into the reclined seat, and kissed her.
And just like that, the woman who'd gone strangely passive snapped back into being the one in charge. She shifted her body so I could kiss her more easily, and, reading my desire to look her in the eyes, met my gaze between kisses.
We kissed for a long time, and I savored Jeong Sujin's body as it burned hotter and hotter. I'd touched this body just yesterday, and yet it was completely different. The thick scent of her skin, the perfume, and some lewd smell from somewhere I couldn't place — all of it mixed into a scent so filthy it made me crazy. A truly filthy body.
And while I was enjoying that body, Jeong Sujin, pinned beneath me, was inhaling just as desperately as she had before. She hadn't done this in bed. Why was she breathing me in like this today?
If I left her alone she'd just keep sniffing, so I slapped her thigh to snap her out of it. Her unfocused eyes came back, and she began undoing the buttons of the shirt she'd worn this morning to show off for me, one by one.
If she'd taken any longer to come to her senses, I'd have just ripped it off.
Meanwhile I pulled the ribbon tied at her waist and undid her skirt. The way it slid down in fits and starts with every movement of her body was insanely erotic. And this wicked woman, knowing I was watching, twisted her body slowly as she undid the buttons, making the descent of that skirt even filthier.
Little by little.
I couldn't stand watching it inch down any longer. I lifted her hips and yanked it the rest of the way off.
Fuck.
I'd found the source of that filthy smell that had been hitting me so hard. A stain that even her black panties and stockings couldn't hide. The contrast made it unmistakable.
It was so filthy, so raw, that it stole every last scrap of my attention — and she knew it. Lying there, covering her face with one arm but never once looking away. That was what finally killed whatever reason I had left.
I stopped caring whether her clothes got ruined. I just tore through the already-soaked stockings and drove into her.
"Hah...!"
"Nnh.....! Nnh...! Nnhk...!"
The composed expression she'd been putting on came undone, melting into the face of a female in heat. I liked that.
"Haaang...♡"
"Ah...haa...hngh....nnh...! Ah...ahh!"
Squelch. Squelch. Squelch.
I liked the way she lay beneath me, enjoying it so much she was nearly in tears. The urge to conquer her, the species-preservation instinct screaming at me to get this female pregnant — both of them kept demanding more.
"Ah....hh...ooh...!"
So I kept making unreasonable demands of a waist that was already moving like mad, driving into her even harder. The car rocking up and down from the motion, the moans growing louder — none of it mattered anymore.
Squelch. Squelch. Squelch.
"Haa...haah...hngh....aaang... haaaang♡"
The way she could no longer form human language, reduced to nothing but animal sounds, was almost adorable.
I lost myself in that wrecked appearance and the pleasure flooding my skull, and before I could hold back any longer I came inside her — deeper than usual, into a womb that had dropped lower to receive it.
"Haa...haa....haa...."
As her tightly tensed thighs and waist finally got a moment to rest, my sanity came back.
The noon ocean, shattered under a hard, beating sun. And Jeong Sujin, wearing nothing but a black bra and panties half-hanging off her, pinned beneath me on the silver Porsche, gasping for breath.
This insane scene unfolding on a hill where, thankfully, no one had come — it was enough to make me lose my mind all over again. I loved it.
"Haa... haa.... haa.... haa..."
"Hey...."
"Babe.... one more time... what do you say?"
