Woke Up as a Legendary Pretty Girl
So I turned into a girl. What's the first thing I should do?
The rest of the day wrapped up like usual. I dropped a shitpost on the gallery, trolled Jujak a little, and grinned like an idiot while watching the reactions roll in. Then I hopped over to another gallery and made a new post.
[Turn into a girl overnight vs. get 10 billion won that disappears the next day]
What would you pick?
“Huh?”
That wasn’t the reaction I expected at all.
Honestly, TS sounds way better. I couldn’t understand why anyone would choose ten billion that vanishes in a single day and leaves nothing behind. With that thought, I shut down the computer and flopped onto the bed.
“Today was pretty productive.”
Believing it with all my heart, I closed my eyes.
*
The next morning.
“Hwaaam…”
The moment I opened my eyes, I sat up and stretched. My joints popped with a series of ominous cracks.
“Ow…”
Rubbing my throbbing shoulders, I tried to get off the bed.
“Whoa—!”
Thud—!
I misstepped and face-planted straight into the floor. I couldn’t even scream, just rolled around for a few minutes before finally pushing myself up.
“Haa… I really thought I was dead for a second…”
Something felt off with my sense of height, but I figured it was just because I’d just woken up. Still rubbing my aching head, I headed to the bathroom.
*
“…Oh fuck. Holy shit.”
Twenty-four years of life, and now I had the biggest problem of all. Sure, I’d had problems before, but this one was on another level.
“Where the hell did my dick go, you piece of shit!”
Standing in front of the mirror, I yanked my pants down and yelled. Where my Johnson should’ve been… there was nothing. Just smooth, bare skin staring back at me.
“Haa… I even got shorter.”
Even my one and only pride—the towering 180cm height—was gone. Overnight, I’d lost everything I used to brag about. I just stared blankly at my reflection.
Yellow hair. Purple eyes. Could purple eyes even be natural? Were those contacts?
I almost reached up to check, but remembered how I’d already yanked on my hair earlier and confirmed it was real. So I stopped.
“Haa…”
“……”
“Still… the face is pretty cute, at least.”
That thought made me pull out my phone and open the camera to take a picture of the girl in the mirror. My hand looked thin and delicate—completely unfamiliar. I forced myself to look away from it and snapped the photo.
Then I went straight to the usual gallery and posted it.
[Woke up as a legendary pretty girl lol?]
(Yellow-haired girl reflected in the mirror.jpg)
Comments flooded in almost immediately.
“…Tch, fuck.”
As expected, nobody believed it. Also, what the hell was that “date with uncle” crap? Blocked.
Anyway, I’d posted something solid, so that was that. Not like a shut-in hikikomori had anyone to meet in person. No need to explain that I’d turned into a girl either—I could just keep living like this. My hands were smaller now, so typing on the phone felt awkward, but at least I could still post.
“Ah, I gotta piss.”
Remembering why I’d come to the bathroom in the first place, I sat down on the toilet.
*
“Haa… that feels so good~!”
A stranger’s voice echoed through the empty one-room apartment. My stomach growled right after.
“…I’m hungry.”
I opened the cupboard and spotted the stack of instant ramen cups. “Hmm, today…”
“Alright, you’re the one.”
I grabbed one of the spicy ones I’d never been able to finish before. The expiration date had a week left.
“Guess I’m eating it today.”
I peeled the lid halfway, poured in the hot water I’d already boiled, and set the chopsticks on top.
“Ta-da~”
While waiting, my dangling legs kept bothering me. I sighed and picked up my phone. I needed something to do to shake off this weird feeling.
I opened Tsujijik and clicked on a stream I usually watched.
“Pfft.”
The moment I joined, I saw the streamer’s character lying dead and the chat roasting them. I topped up a thousand won and sent a donation.
[Ah shit, here it comes again!!]
The streamer recognized me instantly and screamed. The chat exploded with laughing emotes.
“It looked easy though.”
Of course, I’d already one-tried the boss before watching this stream, so I genuinely couldn’t understand how they were struggling.
“Oh, three minutes passed.”
I set the phone down, opened the ramen lid, and took a bite.
“Haa… hngh…! Holy crap…”
The spiciness hit immediately. My tongue and lips burned like crazy. I kept shoveling noodles into my mouth while panting like a dog.
“Ugh… still, slurp… it tastes good though…”
Normally I would’ve thrown it away, but today I somehow kept eating the spicy stuff. By the time the cup was empty, my mouth was on fire. I grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge, chugged it, then returned to my room with the phone.
I sat in the expensive chair I’d bought on impulse and kept watching the stream until the burning faded, swinging my legs in the air.
[Ah! I thought I could dodge that.]
“Heh.”
Alright, time to help out a little. I topped up again and sent another donation.
[No! Who doesn’t know that?! If it were that easy I would’ve cleared it already, you asshole!]
[And how am I supposed to memorize every single skill motion?!]
“Hmm.”
So that’s how it is.
[Haa… Get out.]
“Ah.”
I got banned from the stream. The cold “you have been removed” message stared back at me. I put the phone down.
“Hmm…”
Guess I’ll just play some games today.
*
“Hmm.”
I ignored the flood of friend requests in chat and returned to the lobby. Honestly, if my ultimate had come out just a tiny bit faster on that last AoE, we would’ve killed it. The boss was literally one hit from dying. Still, not my fault.
I queued up again and immediately spotted a familiar name.
“Oh.”
No dodging allowed!!
I quickly typed in chat.
Thanks to my silver tongue, I managed to stop the dodge. After a short loading screen, the familiar cutscene played.
The boss who had gone 50-45-5 rose from his throne, grabbed his massive greatsword as the sky cracked open. The blade that once cleaved enemy necks was now stained reddish-brown with human blood.
[You foolish ones who still do not recognize your sins.]
[Your journey ends here.]
“Kya.”
Man, that cutscene never gets old no matter how many times I see it.
The game started. As I charged toward the boss, a chat message popped up.
“How can you not appreciate this charm… Poor guy.”
Feeling genuine pity for the priest, I raised my greatsword.
Clang—!
With a crisp metallic sound, the boss staggered. Perfect parry.
“Free damage time~”
The moment the boss was stunned, my teammates joined in. Seeing the tank’s roar and the priest’s buffs land, I activated my ultimate.
No fancy voice line—just gathering energy and swinging the greatsword. The motion was simple, but the aftermath was devastating. Space itself warped as the boss’s health bar visibly dropped.
“If we had two priests we could’ve taken 25% more. What a waste.”
Swallowing my disappointment, I dodged the next pattern.
[Spirits who have passed through my hands, answer my call.]
All kinds of wraiths began crawling out around the boss.
