Impossible to Stop!
Cursing is one of the best ways to piss someone off. And people's reactions to anger generally fall into two categories. One is losing your shit and going berserk—surprisingly, a lot of folks end up there. Especially kids or emotional types; the younger or more hot-headed, the higher the odds.
So what's the other one? Getting even colder. The berserkers are scary, sure, but the real dangerous ones are the ice-cold types. They show zero mercy to whatever set them off. Hell, they punish even harder and more brutally. And as much as it sucks for Danbi the Padripper, Yunho was firmly in the latter camp.
No matter how used to trash talk you are, a family diss hits different. Yunho wasn't even that familiar with cursing to begin with. The most he'd heard was dumb jokes between friends. So getting padripped by some total stranger? That was the stuff of nightmares.
"I'll stab you right now."
"Handing you the angle on a platter."
Danbi returned to lane like she was made of tier value, skipping wards in both side bushes and mindlessly shoving again. Yunho slipped out from between the minions just like before, slyly widening the encirclement.
Even on that amateurish bait screaming 'This is bait, dummy', Danbi bit hard—wasting Temptation – Will-o-Wisp – Soul Orb on Lizer. Naturally, she had zero chance against Ryu Sin's gank.
You have slain an enemy!
Sure enough, Danbi spat more curses in chat.
Han-gil, trash talk veteran, took it as high praise. There's this saying, right? 'You don't play to win—you play to tilt the enemy.' To Han-gil, who lived by that gospel, Danbi's rage-fueled spam was music to his ears.
Yunho, though? It just made him chill even harder.
"No need to come this time."
Danbi had died right after respawning from her first death, stuck at level 3. Meanwhile, Yunho used Commander’s Privilege, Teleport—long-range mobility on structures, team minions, wards, whatever—to rotate back and pull ahead massively.
Early game, but items were lopsided, levels a huge gap, and Yunho hadn't even burned Flash. Danbi's chat screamed bruised ego. She was cursing and mentally coping to salvage her pride—it was obvious.
And it showed in her play: shoving even harder, like she'd erased her last mistakes. Yunho, now level 6, delivered thorough payback.
Dodged the incoming Temptation with a front-loaded Flash. Then ult, Spell Surge, for move speed boost, AoE damage, spell vamp. He slammed combo after combo mercilessly.
Lizer under Spell Surge spreads damage AoE on hit. And not just that—E, Spell Shift, doesn't just bounce once; it ricochets up to five times across targets. Every hit target eats AoE, plus extra as it chains to nearby minions or allies.
Yunho knew this cold. He focused the combo when Danbi hugged her minions. Overcharge – Spell Prison – Spell Shift – Overcharge. Her health bar melted like ice cream left out in midsummer. Victory ping again.
You are on a killing spree!
Voice I'd heard endlessly bot, but in PvP? Felt fresh. Momentum was mine. No settling for a mere rampage. This game? I'm carrying.
An ally has been slain.
The ally death alert showed enemy Kalista killing our team's Gerard... Hyun-su. Looked like Saturn's gank. But something was off. Enemy trio couldn't catch our support.
Meaning Taek-jun's Kalista was untouchable against Saturn, their Kalista, and Blitzcrank. She hopped around, auto-spamming Saturn. He overcommitted under tower, already pierced full of spears—tower damage and more spears turned his health to shreds. Spears stuck in him like a porcupine, Kalista skill effect.
"Double kill, right?"
With that casual callout, Taek-jun hurled a spear bigger than her autos. Saturn's health chunked out, dead. The spear pierced through to Blitzcrank behind.
But Blitz wasn't pierced once—every spear that'd been on Saturn transferred over. They yanked free in unison, wiping Blitz's health (just under half) instantly.
Double Kill!
"See? Easy peasy."
What the hell is that champ? Never seen it—scary as shit. After that superplay, declaring carry felt presumptuous. Better stick to farming Danbi. Carry's off the table anyway.
Top lane, meanwhile...
BOOM! THWACK! BOOM! THWACK!
It was like someone yelling 'ORA ORA ORA ORA!' would fit perfectly. V and Trundamere traded autos without flinching. Mixing skills mid-fight, neither backing off—like a Three Kingdoms duel.
An ally has been slain.
Trundamere took the win this time.
"Tch...! Tough bastard!"
Jeongwoo chat-typed while saying it.
What the hell are those two? So wholesome. Teachers, don't do this here. It's a team game, not 1v1s? Why's steady ol' Jeongwoo radiating faint madness?
After tower-checking top and bot, I eyed Han-gil's position. With Saturn dead bot, Han-gil was sweeping enemy top jungle like it was his.
"Yunho, don't waste skills. Hang near the tower."
"Suddenly?"
"Fox delivery incoming lol."
Han-gil scarfed the enemy mid-nearby Razor Ahri for level 6, then froze, waiting. Danbi entered vision, passed tower—boom, wall-hop combo, kicked her straight to me. Literal 'fox delivery.'
Now? Even solo Lizer melted her; against Lizer and Ryu Sin with the gap? No escape. Her only out, Fox Dash, was an ult—at level 4, no dice.
You are going berserk!
Danbi bordering on begging now—mood lightened a tad. But forgiveness? Nah. This guy's getting executed today. No mercy pleas, no commutations. Beg all you want—nope.
Danbi respawned, finally learning: glued to tower, no poking. If she'd done that sooner, 0/4/0 mighta been 0/3/0. Too late anyway. Troll's a troll.
Short-armed Lizer can't touch her under tower without risking it. Tempt her by accident? Tower dives her into dust. Options? Two: roam, or freeze the wave super slow.
(Learned later it's called 'lane freezing'—cool term.)
Slow push pressures her: 'Step out, you die.' She's stuck, can't CS, just XP starving. Crank it harder, deny XP too.
Easy: last-hit at the absolute last second. Holds mid for two waves. Risk? Ganks. If gank comes, just bail—my growth's steep; I'll survive easy. Hope none come...
Spoke too soon. Map went dark. Character voice: 'You're alone now.' Mark under Lizer. Saturn dove me.
Damn, flag? Hurled Spell Prison at Saturn for space. No root. Mistarget? Nah. Flashed back to WCK finals—Zabir's Magic Shield. Saturn's got one too.
"Mid alive!?"
How'd he know in pitch black? No time for questions anyway. Ult Spell Surge for speed, Overcharge – Spell Shift, backpedal.
Saturn's health dropping weirdly fast. Faster than expected. Mine dipped first, but spell vamp + Tri-Potion healed me up. His chunked to 30-40%, mine stabilized at 50-60%.
This... might be winnable?
*
Darkness hit; I snapped vision mid. Top? Holy duel vibe—no gank without both laners flaming me, no follow-up anyway. Bot? They'd handle; who'd dive after that Kalista spanking?
Mid it was. Saturn's Guide of the Inferior ground effect screamed it. Assess first.
"Mid alive!?"
No reply. Probably panicking. Vision block + long-range target dash ult, Delusions of Grandeur? Newbie nightmare. Map blacks out, screen reds, Saturn flies in from nowhere. My bad not warning him.
Tense wait for our death ping.
You have slain an enemy!
Wait... enemy eliminated?
"EEEEASY!!"
Goddamn top psycho. Killed the vibe. 1v1 in the dark? Role model material...
Tension eased as map lit up.
Impossible to Stop!
"Holy crap, that fear's busted. Almost lost."
...This guy's a newbie?
