Childhood Friend's Exclusive Living Onahole: Episode 10
"You will all eventually be swept away and drowned by the waves of our people."
"I may go, but the independence of the fatherland is inevitable. Long live the people of Atlantis!"
"Imperialism is nothing but a paper tiger! If even a single drop of the blood I shed now can contribute to the victory of the proletariat worldwide, I will gladly lay down my life!"
"Damn it, they're yapping their nonsense right up to the end. Who was the idiot that didn't gag them? Shut up, all of you! Load up! Give these red bastards a taste of hellfire!"
Tatata-tang—! After the storm of bullets fired in response to the officer's bellowing command, as he brandished his gleaming bayonet like a madman, yet another group of anti-Lucider resistance fighters vanished into the dustbin of history. But even as they exited the stage, the embers of the anti-Lucider resistance would never be extinguished.
Damn it all, how the hell did I end up posted to this godforsaken hellhole...? If I could go back to the day I submitted that application thinking it was my big break, I'd smash my own wrist to take it back. The Lucid Empire officer gritted his teeth, watching his soldiers roughly dump the reds' corpses into the pre-dug pit.
The Lucid Empire had undoubtedly scored a monumental victory in the last Great War against the Atlantis Empire, one for the cosmic history books. Back when Billeneuve—who'd stolen the imperial seal without the Emperor's approval—and Baltic, commander of the Atlantis expeditionary force, shook hands on Mars, it seemed like glory alone lay ahead for them.
The Lucid Empire government, upon hearing Baltic's victory report, shared that sentiment. They'd turned Atlantis into a puppet state and planned to plunder everything there to fuel their own wealth.
But reality? The Lucid Empire was bogged down in endless resistance movements across Atlantis territory, losing far more every day than the puppet Atlantis Empire could generate. As the resistance intensified, the suppression forces grew ever more brutal—one crushed, ten sprang up elsewhere; wipe them out, turn around, and a hundred returned.
It was like Vietnam, no, worse—a quagmire without end. Vietnam was confined to one planet, Earth, and a localized region like the Indochina Peninsula. But this war to eradicate the anti-Lucider resistance turned every one of the hundreds of billions of star systems into a frontline.
And the communists were the worst of all. Despite seemingly insurmountable racial and linguistic barriers, they fused into a unified front, sustaining successful resistance. Even under the most horrific torture, they never spilled resistance secrets. Even specialist interrogators were left speechless by their ironclad revolutionary zeal.
The "Leftist Combat Labor Union," under the People's Party command, sounded like a union but waged large-scale battles with tanks and fighters instead of guerrilla hits. What union rolls around with tanks and jets? Well, after their reckless general strike got brutally crushed, they had no other options.
The Communist Party favored guerrilla tactics, opposite the People's Party, but their scale was no slouch—planting agents with nuclear grenades to blow up entire police stations or army bases, sniper squads massacring high officials. They never fell behind the People's Party.
Despite the divide—domestic forces (People's Party) vs. foreign-backed (Communists)—with the common enemy of the Lucid Empire before them, they joined hands gladly, fighting to the last man, the last second.
Were the right-wing anti-communists pro-Lucid? Hardly. Horrified by the Lucid Empire's massacre of trillions, they allied with the communists despite the Governor-General's divide-and-conquer tactics exploiting ideological rifts. The so-called "left-right grand alliance" succeeded brilliantly.
"Of course, we can't ignore the rightists' reactionary tendencies. But setting aside old grudges to focus on driving out those vile Luciders is the true path for the people. Comrades, postpone Atlantean infighting!"
"Have you forgotten our vow to join hands even with devils for independence? Even if it's from those worse than communists, grasp it! Remember, our immediate enemy is the Luciders, not them!"
Communists dominated the resistance numerically but were hamstrung by basing far from Earth, Atlantis's heart. The right-leaning domestic government, smaller but entrenched within dozens of light-years of Earth, posed a grave threat to the Governor-General.
The domestic government army, numbering over 100 billion by their count, couldn't be crushed anytime soon. For Luciders who wanted to claim everything here, nuclear carpet-bombing like in the Great War was off the table. Why conquer and rule ashes?
Thanks(?) to the Luciders, lowly commoners long oppressed by noble houses and highborn aristocrats were shaking hands, embracing in miraculous scenes. Separatism within Atlantis faded amid the anti-Lucid struggle, laying the foundation for the "nation-state" Kaldir so desired.
Their unified resistance was terrifying. Atlantis garrison forces, exceeding 100 quadrillion and nearing 200, crumbled everywhere. Cates Empire's mass dispatch of volunteer legions added to the woe, delivering a knockout blow to Lucid's economy post-new colonies.
"The Cates Empire government strongly condemns the barbaric acts of the Lucid Empire in Atlantis territory. Effective immediately, Lucid is isolated from all nations; violators will face equal sanctions."
"What nonsense is this outrage! The right to govern colonies belongs to sovereign states, doesn't it? On what grounds does third-party Cates interfere in our legitimately acquired colony?!"
Lucid was a heavyweight in the "Union," but Cates was stronger. Lucid vetoed UN sanctions, but Cates' unilateral ones were just as fearsome.
Fearing secondary boycotts, even Cates' old rivals halted trade with Lucid over risky gambles. Atlantean fervor—despite plenty of defeatists—dovetailed perfectly, shining Lucid's GDP growth at a glorious -30%.
And it didn't stop there. Cates supplied materials to weary Atlantean resistors and blockaded Lucid's home—vast Andromeda Galaxy—with their fleet, inspecting every vessel.
Trusting their superior might, Cates tightened Lucid's noose without declaring war. Despite domestic hawks' protests, Lucid couldn't risk all-out war with Cates and slowly sank beneath the waves.
Lucid's "genius" swap of a barely profitable colony for their economy was international internet fodder. Allies carving up Atlantis with them didn't mock officially, but it changed nothing.
Yet independence still felt distant for Atlanteans. Seven years of "Great War," fifteen of "Great Galactic War"—the official anti-Lucid resistance name—exhausted the people.
Even the hated Luciders seemed cornered after 20+ years, but Atlanteans needed rest too. Too much blood spilled, too many planets lost to flames.
They needed a decisive blow—powerful, crushing, to break Lucid's nose once and for all. Cates aid helped immensely, but they were outsiders. Without reclaiming Earth and independence by Atlantean power alone, it'd just be swapping overlords.
...Easier said than done. If wishes made it so, poverty wouldn't exist. People's Party strength had steadily eroded; an all-out push was risky, potentially suicidal without prep.
"Nothing goes right. Fifteen years since Father's suicide, and they should've waved the white flag by now, but they cling on like cockroaches..."
Atlaine I, provisional Secretary-General—top wanted man with the fattest bounty, former Crown Prince, linchpin of the resistance—muttered from his office, buried in endless paperwork.
Commanding cosmic-scale war allowed no rest. Fifteen years of drugs to stay awake left his face less human than undead.
His noble prince origins clashed with the stained uniform, sunken eyes, unfocused gaze, skeletal frame—like bones animated by necromancy.
Drugs suppressed sleep, but at huge cost. Over 20 years like this, even before witnessing Father's throat-slitting suicide—death shadowed his face. That was the man Shuga sought, Atlantia Princess's father.
Trillions of Atlantean lives hung on his shoulders; he couldn't quit from exhaustion alone. Too many would lose final hope. Plus, his precious daughter and son trapped amid Luciders kept him sleepless.
"Atlantia, Atlan... Should've saved you then... What are those Luciders doing to you, surrounded...?"
That thought tormented him beyond endurance. Before resistance commander, he was a father, a feeling human. His kids' lives weren't more precious, so reckless rescues were wrong... but if only he could save them...
"That's my dad sitting there. Haven't seen him since I was tiny, so not 100% sure... but only he holds the Secretary-General title in our country, so it has to be."
"Th-that's your... no, Princess's father...?"
Now hallucinations too? No one else in this office, so no girls' voices... Wait, "Dad"? The haggard Secretary-General looked up to see his desperately called daughter and an unfamiliar girl standing there.
Am I finally mad, seeing ghosts? That face resembles my late wife Hera... Is that really my Atlantia? He'd longed for family reunion, but its sudden arrival left him speechless, eyes wide.
"Uh... h-hi... Dad? Your daughter Atlantia. This is Maki... I mean, Kaldir, who came with me."
"Atlantia... Truly my daughter?"
He spaced out long, then, convinced, shed genuine tears and embraced his daughter after ages. He didn't notice her succubus-revealing lingerie.
To him, his Atlantia had thrived beyond expectations. How did she grow so well without proper fatherly care...? Unaware she'd grown wanton post-Kaldir meeting.
Nngh... Ahhn... Mistress, too much~♥ Amid the touching reunion, Kaldir—fresh suit replacing her dirtied one—moaned lewdly, oblivious. No underwear like before Beomhyeok, fearing Absolute Yin Seal exposure on her belly, plus a rotor in her pussy—plenty excuse to squirm.
