Childhood Friend's Exclusive Living Onahole: Part 3
Oh no, it's finally happened!
The moment Colonel Astra bursts into the room, she spots Shuga hanging from a noose amid a mountain of piled-up Kaldir merchandise. With that thought flashing through her mind, she instantly incinerates the rope choking Shuga's neck using her superpowers. In the heat of the moment, targeting and burning just that narrow strip was far more difficult than the days when she'd scorched entire planets—but it was enough to pull Shuga back from the brink of death.
Somehow, she'd had a bad feeling about this. She'd tried to focus on paperwork for the planetary fortress residents' welfare, but concentration had eluded her completely. If she'd been even a little later... the thought sends chills down her spine. To think she'd actually attempt suicide.
"Co-Colonel... Sis, sis... she'll live, right?"
"Y-Yes... Don't worry. Nothing like what you're fearing will happen! I won't let it!"
The instant the rope snaps, Colonel Astra catches Shuga as she collapses to the floor. She reassures the trembling Solt, then teleports them straight to the infirmary. She lays Shuga on the bed and bellows for Aurora, who might know how to handle this.
"Yes, what is it... I think I know what's happened."
Aurora appears with a whoosh alongside Plang the moment Colonel Astra calls. She takes one look and grasps Shuga's condition. Freed from the noose, but strangled for over two minutes prior—her body is drained of all vitality, critically ill.
Aurora nods and pulls out a blood pack, preparing a transfusion. Colonel Astra, no expert in treating suicide attempts, wonders why a blood pack when there's no bleeding. She shoots a questioning glance instead of speaking, and Aurora explains.
"This is from my owner—Kaldir. Shuga collected these as treasures under the guise of blood donation service. Perfectly preserved, ready for immediate transfusion. You didn't know?"
Didn't know? What? Colonel Astra's expression twists in confusion. Aurora's elaboration is even more bewildering: Shuga's devotion to Kaldir runs so deep she hoards her blood packs; she's been self-harming while thinking of Kaldir, so this should help.
Come to think of it... Shuga's wrists are wrapped in bandages. She'd been like that for ages, dodging questions about injuries. Was it because she loves my adopted daughter so obsessively that she harms herself, spiraling into despair until attempting suicide?
If it's this bad, I might have no choice but to approve the marriage she's sung about since childhood. My heart... it's heavy...
Colonel Astra realizes she needs to rethink Shuga entirely. She'd glimpsed the secret diary and vomited in disgust, but yelling at a girl freshly pulled from death's door—"As Kaldir's adoptive mother, I can't accept your twisted love!"—that would be heartless beyond words.
She's endured humiliation from OKW's old-guard dinosaurs who can't tolerate female officers. Now imposing conservative views on Shuga, banning same-sex love? It'd be laughable.
Still, her heart won't settle. She wonders how Army Marshal Grozny—personally pinning her colonel insignia and Knight's Cross—would react. She yearns for his advice right now. From one of the three great noble houses, yet rewarding commoner soldiers without bias... He'd approve, surely?
While Colonel Astra ponders Kaldir and Shuga's relationship seriously, Aurora starts the transfusion. Kaldir's blood—the very essence Shuga loves enough to die for—brings color rushing back to her face the moment it enters.
Odd that Kaldir's blood outperforms the medicine she handcrafted for Shuga. By the time Aurora exhausts the blood packs she'd raided from Shuga's collection stash, her complexion looks normal.
Thank goodness—the crisis seems past. Colonel Astra thinks to fetch Solt from where she's collapsed and reassure her. Just as expected, Solt is slumped at the collision spot. She brings her to the infirmary, assuring her sister won't die—a meager comfort.
"Th-then... Sis is... okay...? Whew... g-good... so glad..."
Solt only relaxes after repeated confirmations from Aurora and Colonel Astra. Even I was worried she'd done something irreversible. In that sense, unflappable Aurora seems impressive. She feels emotions, sure, but as a robot, she's bound to differ from humans.
"I want... to be alone with Sis... Is that okay...?"
After clutching her sister's hand silently for minutes, Solt's request is a simple one Colonel Astra can easily grant. Though Shuga's out of danger, is leaving them alone wise? After a brief hesitation, she agrees cheerfully, ushering Aurora and Plang out.
Aurora voices concern, but Colonel Astra brushes it off—she can't deny Solt's snotty, earnest pleas.
"Solt, hang in there! Shuga Sis... she'll be fine!"
"Y-yeah... Plang... th-thanks..."
Plang, who'd stood silently till then, mumbles shyly and exits. Now alone with her sister in the infirmary, Solt wipes away her childlike sobs befitting a 9-year-old, her face suddenly twisting into a sinister glare.
"You scared me, Sis... You're my woman... Getting distracted by another girl, abandoning your cute little sister to run off to the next world alone... I don't know the details, but... when you wake... you'll be punished, right?"
Indeed. If Shuga's a yandere with warped affection for her childhood friend, Solt goes beyond— a siscon fixated on her own blood sister. Unbeknownst to Solt, it's fallout from indirect exposure to Kaldir's pheromones on Shuga's clothes when she encountered her sister.
"Don't worry, Sis. I'll keep watch over you."
Solt's muttering to herself looks eerily off. Outwardly a bright smile, but the depths hold far more malice. No expression for an elementary second-grader, six years shy of her middle-school second-year sister.
Shuga's in a similar bind, oblivious in her coma-dream to her defenseless body eyed by her siscon sister. Her good personality clashes in brutal combat with the evil yandere one for body control—a fight too fierce to witness.
"Hehehe... Better to close your eyes without resisting... You know deep down you can't beat me by force."
"Guh... ngh... If I... g-give up... to the likes of you... I won't... hand Kaldir over... n-never..."
Post near-death, the personalities—once blended, now sharply divided—battle in one-sided dominance by the yandere.
Enveloped in pitch-black darkness, a single beam illuminates the duel. The good personality, seeking normal love's fruition, chokes under the yandere's grip—who spares no means to seize Kaldir's body—slowly swallowed by shadows.
If the yandere triumphs fully, Shuga's recent resolve to treat Kaldir gently crumbles. The yandere, blood-ready to reclaim her, will seize control and upend everything.
The good fights desperately, dreading the atrocities a yandere-possessed Shuga might inflict on Kaldir. But the fight, sparked by the yandere lunging upon sensing the good's existence, was doomed from the start.
"Ka...ldir... that sweet girl... what are you... gonna do to her..."
"Oh? That? Nothing much. Just stab the bitch who stole our insolent Kaldir's first time... and give Kaldir a fitting 'punishment'..."
Brown curly long hair, rabbit ears, massive breasts, soft belly, plump hips—all identical—the duel ends in yandere victory. The good sheds tears in final defeat and vanishes. The victor snaps her eyes open.
Swipe. Shuga surveys her surroundings upon waking: unfamiliar ceiling... no, familiar little sister. How long was I out? This is the infirmary—Aurora must've helped get me here... So Colonel Astra got involved... Why are you the only one left, then?
"Hehe, Sis. You're awake, awake! Thank goodness."
Solt erases her sinister pre-awakening grin, beaming innocently and hugging her recovered sister. A fairly warm embrace.
