We're Taking Her From Here
We're taking her from here.
Nvision may have become a dead game, but there was a time when it was called the national pastime. Those who couldn't forget those memories. Those who once poured hours into Nvision before jumping ship to Abyss. Those who still refused to accept the game was finished, clinging to it the way a parent strokes the cheek of a child long gone.
Saturday, 7 p.m. — prime time. Kayak's stream went live.
Given the category and a title designed to hook interest, it was only natural that they came flooding in.
It was a sponsored stream. She'd taken money from Nvision to deliberately play their game.
So the people pouring in assumed Kayak would be no different from every other streamer who'd taken an Nvision ad deal — that she'd go through the motions with a plastic smile, declare the game fun in a voice empty of soul, glance at the clock every so often, and let the faint contempt of a dedicated Abyss player leak through the cracks.
That was the kind of ad stream they expected.
Instead—
"Okay, the character customization system is genuinely good, I'll give Nvision that. For games in this genre, they're basically the only ones who let you go this deep with it. It's unique, right? Back in the day I'd spend entire days just messing with custom characters. But now the customization's so wild you can't even tell characters apart half the time, and the monetization push is pretty aggressive. I wish they'd fix that part."
Kayak shattered every expectation and threw herself into the sponsored stream with real commitment. No — more than commitment. She made it feel genuine.
And that left a deep impression on the handful of Nvision players still left standing.
A streamer who actually gave a damn about Nvision — one of the vanishing few. Sure, the whole thing had started because Nvision paid her, but Kayak showed them something the other streamers never had.
"This is a genuinely insane dead game. You still haven't fixed this? People were complaining about this back in the day too. No wonder it died."
…She stabbed the sore spots without flinching and tore into the game freely — but there was affection underneath it. You only beat something up this thoroughly when you actually care.
And the chat's reaction wasn't bad at all. Part of that was Kayak's deft mix of carrot and stick, but mostly it was because the majority of them agreed with every point she was making.
People who'd once played Nvision, and the ones still holding the line — they felt like she'd scratched every itch they'd been living with.
Just like the players who'd stuck with Abyss back when it was a collapsing dead game, people who play dying titles are a prickly, impossible bunch.
It was grief, rage, and loneliness all at once — the sorrow of watching a game you loved go unrecognized and vanish.
Playing a niche game nobody else touched meant living with that. A solitude no one understood. Spines raised like a hedgehog's, ready to jab.
Kayak earned the recognition of Nvision's hardcore faithful. It was a world apart from every previous streamer who'd taken an Nvision ad — the ones who'd been quietly iced out, dogpiled, and in the worst cases sniped mid-broadcast.
She'd passed every one of their tests. She'd played Nvision herself, fought off the snipers, shown the long-haul dedication of someone who'd put real hours into the game — and as the final blow, she'd even carried the players' long-standing complaints straight to the company.
In the end, Kayak's sponsored stream was a massive success. Coordinates dropped in the Nvision gallery, people poured in from there, and they watched with satisfied grins while joining her in roasting Nvision's management.
"Right? It was fun back then. But wasn't I an Abyss player, you're asking? Ah — there was a stretch where circumstances had me playing a lot of Nvision. What circumstances… that's a secret."
The minimum condition negotiated with the ad team had been four hours.
Kayak's stream kept going well past the four-hour mark. The category stayed locked on Nvision the entire time.

From now on this cute noona belongs to our Nvision yeah
Got a problem? Meet me in the arena
Came to check the ad response and what? Kayak's the Gallery Queen? Hand over Kayak?
Nope~ absolutely not handing her over. Kayak likes Abyss more~ The only reason she played Nvision hard was to steal tech from a thriving developed nation~
Who even plays a game with 3K concurrent and no league left lmaooo
