See? Pretty Easy, Right?
"See? Pretty easy, right?"
Even while Kayack—Mun-a—was live on stream, the Abyss Gallery kept churning out fresh threads about her in real time.
The revelation that Kayack was a girl had hit hard enough that every single post on the gallery was about her and nothing else.
In that moment you could have renamed the place the Kayack Streamer Minor Gallery and nobody would have batted an eye.
The viewer count she wasn't even checking kept climbing, and the gallery's frenzy was definitely part of the reason.
Played Abyss since Season 0 beta when even hardcore tryhards barely knew the game existed
Co-founded the Abyss Gallery with the current mods
Was a consistent ranker all the way through Season 3 or 4
Posted Camilla guides like a mad scientist when literally nobody cared about the character
Queued a thousand games every single season until the shutdown notice dropped
Whenever someone shitposted in the gallery she'd reply like she had nothing better to do
How the fuck is this a girl…?
You were buddy-buddy with Kayack
If you don't want to get impeached start talking
I hate that head mod has known Kayack—who's got that voice, plays that well, and is that witty—for so long….
I hate that head mod used to duo with Kayack who is suspiciously cracked at Camilla….
I hate that head mod will still be able to DM her privately after she ends stream….
I just hate him… I hate head mod…
I'm the most shocked person here right now;;
We used to play together, we were friendly enough that we'd say hi when we logged on and queue sometimes, that's true
We co-run the Abyss Gallery and shitpost together, also true
But I genuinely never knew she was a girl;;
I was so stunned watching the stream I had to take a heart-calming pill
If she's been gallery-posting forever she's definitely gonna check the gallery after stream ends. The people who claimed to be fans are just sexually harassing her now that they know she's a girl, and the haters are spreading weird conspiracy theories
If I were big sis Kayack I'd get so disgusted I'd leave the gallery for good…
"Camilla can fill two main roles. Assassin or bruiser."
Once the game started she began explaining the build first, just so the viewers could follow along.
Understanding the build meant understanding the hero Camilla herself, so she started with a short overview of the character.
"—and so this game I decided that if we just delete their ADC we literally can't lose, which is why I went with the Scourge Camilla build to play the assassin role. If anyone's curious about the build I dropped a link, check it out and give it a try."
One glance at chat, one glance back at the game screen.
In the span of a heartbeat both checks happened without the slightest hitch. That was how she could keep playing and still read chat in real time.
Having a superior body lets you pull off stuff like this, huh. It was a feat that would have been impossible before. Reading people's messages while talking and still playing comfortably.
"Enemy ADC is Nox. ADC with stealth, so you always grab a lens."
Because she had taken the vision rune she could see Nox, but Nox still had no idea she was there.
Dark night, winding terrain. Using the blind spots in vision she crept closer, step by careful step.
Quiet. Stealthy. Exactly like a real assassin.
At last Camilla revealed herself like a predator and Nox reacted too late, rolling desperately across the ground, but it was already over.
Surviving Scourge Camilla from that range was hard even for the absolute top rankers.
"Pop the lens and you see her right away, yeah? Fast combo… and clean kill."
After that the rest of the game plan wasn't complicated.
Return to the fight and support the team, or camp a tower and keep pressure on Nox, or take a little risk and dive the enemy base to delete the respawned Nox.
She chose the last option.
Scourge Camilla was a build made from the start to blow up the ADC and die with them if necessary. Its entire reason for existing was deleting the ADC.
So diving their base was the play that actually let the build do its job.
"I was planning to die with him. Got lucky and lived."
And if you delete their ADC and then somehow survive on top of that, the game becomes literally unwinnable for the other team.
That was the textbook way to play Scourge Camilla.
Somehow the whole stream had turned into an educational lecture, and she wondered whether people had actually found it fun.
While she was thinking that, the scenery on screen began to change.
The evening glow faded.
Camilla turned her back to the setting sun, and above her the victory banner slowly rose. Mun-a watched the scene with a satisfied little smile and opened her mouth.
"See? Pretty easy, right?"
