The World's Greatest Sex Friend
It was a fine day, still before the heat of summer had fully arrived, with just a hint of spring’s lingering chill in the air.
It wasn't exactly peak vacation season, but the weather was sunny and perfect for a little outing.
“Honey… are you okay?”
“Hm? Why?”
“The skin under your eyes is pitch black today. Didn't you look in the mirror before you left?”
…I know.
I’d pulled an all-nighter and left the house with nothing but lotion on my face, so of course I looked like a wreck.
After Yeoeun happily accepted my proposal for a trip, I’d spent the entire night researching. I’d squeezed my brain cells like I was extracting sesame oil, planning the future while considering every aspect of Yeoeun’s tastes.
Should we wander around Seoul? Or go to an amusement park like last time? Or should I be bold and suggest we grab our passports and go abroad?
I’d gone through countless ideas, writing down plans and erasing them over and over.
Since I’d finally gathered the courage to ask, I wanted to leave a deep impression. I wanted to give her a perfect day—a special day she would never forget for the rest of her life.
“Hmm~ Driving out to the countryside is nice sometimes, too.”
“……Is it?”
Well, as you can see, the result was incredibly mundane.
After much deliberation, I chose the countryside. I’d decided to take a trip to a nearby province. It was a cliché course, but there was a reason for it.
I avoided Seoul because Yeoeun, who had lived her life as the ultimate insider, knew the city better than I ever could. I had genuinely considered a trip abroad, but that felt too transparently motivated by my own ulterior motives.
Therefore, I compromised. The countryside offered a fresh change of scenery, and more importantly, it provided the perfect excuse for two friends to “have no choice but to stay the night.”
For the record, the car I was driving was a one-day rental. Since I was still living the life of a pedestrian while paying off my own loans, renting was my only option.
“Phew, the breeze feels so good~”
I’d simulated what I would say if she asked about the rental, but it seemed Yeoeun didn't care much about the state of my wallet. Unlike me, who was constantly self-conscious about my financial limitations, she seemed to be the type who just wanted to have fun without any discomfort. She simply rolled down the window and soaked in the breeze.
I couldn't help but admire that relaxed, free-spirited mindset.
Above all,

‘Is her skirt even shorter today…?’
…Gulp.
It was a short skirt I hadn't seen before. Today’s outfit was a crisp, white, wide-hemmed tennis skirt paired with an off-the-shoulder turtleneck tank top and a light cardigan. She looked impeccable.
I think it every time: she knows how to dress incredibly well. No matter what she wears, she makes herself the center of attention, forcing everyone to look at her. Perhaps it’s because of her voluminous body, which makes any outfit look good.
“Honey.”
“Yeah?”
“You’ll get hurt if you take your eyes off the road while driving♡”
“……!”
As I was sneaking a glance at her, Yeoeun, who had been leaning out the window, giggled. She was watching me through the side mirror. She had seen right through my prying gaze and was teasing me for it.
I thought I’d been subtle, but her remark reminded me of our first meeting.
“E-ehem!”
“Hahaha♥”
Anyway, the day started with a good feeling. We sped along the route the navigation system provided, and under the warm sun, I had a hunch that everything would go well today.
“Whoa, is it really this crowded? Maybe because it’s the weekend… there are so many people.”
An incredibly popular spot located halfway up a mountain, packed with more people than I could have imagined. As Yeoeun stepped out of the car, she breathed in the fresh air—and the overwhelming pressure of the crowd along with it.
People were gathered in droves, like hikers when the autumn leaves turn. A wave of families on outings and couples like us on dates. But I had expected this. If it’s a weekend near the capital, it’s bound to be a madhouse.
“We’re here, so should we get some food first?”
“Phew… but look at the lines at every restaurant. It looks like we’d have to wait two hours.”
This was where I tried to bluff a little. Mimicking Yeoeun, I flashed a triumphant, toothy grin.
“I made a reservation in advance. The places known for being good actually take reservations.”
I might not look like much, but thanks to all the paperwork I’ve done at the office, I’m a master at creating schedules. Having finished my research, I pulled out my phone and waved it confidently.
“Heh, you’re pretty thorough, aren't you, honey?”
She complimented me, and my shoulders puffed up with pride. With my head held high, I pushed through the crowd and presented my phone to the staff member managing the waiting list. I’d timed our arrival perfectly, and the corners of my mouth curled up on their own.
But then,
“…Sir, your reservation is for tomorrow.”
“……………Huh?”
My pride vanished in an instant.
“The date you reserved for… look, it’s the 13th, right? Well, today is the 12th…”
I turned around, breaking into a cold sweat immediately. After checking the numbers two, three times, I was speechless.
‘……Damn it.’
I must have made a mistake. I’d made the reservation in the middle of the night, and since the day had already rolled over, I’d gotten confused.
My face burned bright red. I’d pushed through the crowd so confidently, and now it felt like every single person in line was staring at me. It was all in my head, of course, but it felt like they were all laughing at me.
Unlike me, who had stiffened up, Yeoeun calmly surveyed the surroundings.
After looking around with a blank expression, she said,
“Honey.”
“Y-yeah?”
“That place looks empty, should we just eat there?”
It was a street hot dog stand. Finger food you just hold and eat, mood be damned. But I had no choice. With the reservation ruined, I couldn't just keep standing there, and we were both hungry from the long drive. We ended up buying two hot dogs and setting up camp on a nearby bench.
“Mmm~ Sometimes, eating something covered in sauce like this isn't bad either♡”
“……I’m sorry. I prepared so much that I must have gotten confused.”
“Why are you apologizing? It’s fine. I actually hate waiting in lines anyway.”
Yeoeun’s simple comfort. We’d started off on the wrong foot, but that one sentence gave me the strength to keep going.
But from now on, it would be different.
“So, what’s the reason we came all the way out here?”
This time, I was certain. The course I’d planned, considering Yeoeun’s tastes a hundred times over, was right nearby.
“Have you ever ridden a zipline?”
“A zipline? You mean like an amusement park ride?”
“It’s similar, but different. It’s a device where you use a one-person cable to travel to a small island.”
“Oh?”
Yeoeun showed quite a bit of interest. I’d already figured out her tastes at the amusement park: she was the type who sought out simple, high-intensity thrills. A zipline is essentially jumping from a high place and enjoying the skyline while riding a wire. In other words, it was 100% high-intensity thrill, exactly what Yeoeun would love.
I’d spent a full hour scouring the internet to find this course. I wanted to give her the best day ever.
—I’ve never ridden this before.
—Hey, hey, don't push. It’s super crowded.
—But why is the line so long? Wait… the wait time from here is 1 hour and 30 minutes?!
—Phew… honey, should we just give up on this?
—Mom, I’m hungry….
“Um…… should I have reserved this place first?”
“…….”
That was the feeling. The restaurant line had just been a taste; the long, winding queue showed the true extent of the weekend crowd. I hadn't expected it, but everyone gathered here was here for the zipline.
‘Is this place a blood vessel clogged with cholesterol?’
The long line moved incredibly slowly, likely because the zipline structure only allowed for one person at a time. I’d made the perfect mistake of thinking that even if I waited, it would only be 30 minutes, keeping the cable car that went up and down the mountain in mind. Furthermore, reservations for this were difficult. I’d tried to book in advance, but with only a few days left, it was impossible.
“Phew… it’s getting a bit hot with all these people.”
Since we were halfway up a mountain, the scenery was nice. But with people swarming like lovebugs, there was no room to enjoy the mood.
“Do you want some water? Well… the line is moving, so let’s just hold on a little longer.”
She looked exhausted by the crowd, but I couldn't bring myself to say let’s give up. Even if we wasted time, there was a reason we absolutely had to ride this. But then,
“Haa, haa….”
A man came running down from above, dripping with sweat. He looked like a staff member, even wearing a name tag, and he was soaked through. He put his lips to a megaphone and broadcasted to the crowd:
—Eeeehhh!?
‘What!?’
【We apologize. We are working on repairs quickly, but please be aware that there may be significant delays in restoration!】
The crowd buzzed at the announcement. Not having the courage to wait any longer, people started leaving the line in droves.
‘……Damn it.’
Despair. I’d finally made it to the 30-minute wait mark, and now this. It was futile. Could there be such a stroke of bad luck in the world? A variable that shouldn't have happened had perfectly wasted our time.
As I mentioned earlier, this was a course we absolutely had to go through. If we didn't ride it, more problems would arise. My entire plan started with taking the zipline to get onto the small island. I’d planned the whole course for us to wander around the island until sunset, so the day’s events only worked if we got in that way.
“……Honey.”
Yeoeun was watching me. Up until now, she’d endured it all for the sake of my “face.” To borrow Mr. Young-cheol’s words, Yeoeun was impatient and hated the act of waiting itself, and it was obvious she’d been forcing herself to hold back for my sake. So, in the end, I had no choice but to say it directly.
“Shall we go to the hotel?”
We’d started the morning in such high spirits, only to head to the hotel I’d booked with a miserable feeling. But even at the rather expensive hotel we’d arrived at early, there was one final stroke of bad luck.
“I apologize. Your check-in time is at 7 PM. Could you please come back a little later?”
““…….””
Check-in was after 7 PM. We were cut off at the entrance, and in the end, we couldn't even unload our luggage from the car. There was a walking trail near the hotel, so we decided to take a lap around that instead. The view was open and the garden was well-maintained, but it wasn't enough to soothe the bitterness of the day.
“Ha… I’m sorry. Things got tangled up in more ways than one.”
I repeated the words I’d been saying all day.
“It can't be helped. It’s not like you intended for this to happen.”
“Still, it’s just… I’ve wasted the precious time you gave me. I feel so sorry.”
I’d tried to do something, but it hadn't worked out. Everything had been going well until now, but today of all days, I’d tripped over every stone and fallen down every slope. I felt like I shouldn't have bothered.
“Heh, wasted time?”
Yeoeun, who had been walking beside me, hopped in front of me. Standing face-to-face, she raised her toes just a little to brush my bangs aside, and then,
“I enjoyed myself enough.”
“…We’ve been standing around all day and stuck in the car. Was there anything to enjoy?”
Hehehe♥
“Just looking at this was enough. It was fun watching this idiot face of yours, so disappointed and shrinking away, and watching you get all anxious and restless right beside me.”
“…….”
She’d teased me mercilessly. But it was a tease that carried comfort. *Squeeze!* At the same time, she grabbed my hand from below. After interlacing our fingers, she whispered softly,
“Above all, you prepared all of this for me, didn't you?”
“………Well.”
“You know, your sincerity… honestly, it was frustrating at first, but it’s not so bad anymore. It’s like, as I understand it more, I feel like I want to see more of it?”
For some reason, she wasn't just playing around today. She possessed a cunning nature, but she also showed the warm, enveloping maturity of an older woman. ‘…No wonder men couldn't just leave her alone.’ Mr. Young-cheol’s words flashed through my mind. At this rate, I was only going to like her more.
Like a tamed fox, she caught on with quick intuition, rubbing against me to soothe me, teasing me, and comforting me all at once. I wanted to know Yeoeun for a long, long time, more deeply than this. My greed for her was only growing.
Swoosh♥
While I was thinking that, Yeoeun suddenly stepped one pace closer.
‘Besides, our main game hasn't even started yet, right?’
I flinched! Yeoeun, who had pressed her body against me as if to embrace me, whispered in my ear. She gripped my shoulders tightly so I wouldn't dare pull away, and as if she’d been holding back just for this moment, I swallowed a sticky gulp of saliva and leaned in.
She whispered in that uniquely sultry, intoxicating tone of hers:
‘Let’s finish the job properly today, honey♥’
“…….”
Squeeze♥
As if to imply something, she even slipped one leg—clad in that short skirt—between mine. Even if I tried to ignore it, I couldn't ignore the massive, soft weight pressing against my chest. My head felt hot. Recalling what had happened before, I felt a reaction stirring below.
“W-wait!”
But I stopped her. Not because of other people, but with pure reason. There was still one thing that was bothering me.
“Look… it’s not that I mean anything else by this, but since it’s something I arranged, I should tell you.”
“Yeah?”
I stayed as calm as possible. I could guess what kind of reaction I’d get, but I just stated the facts. After much deliberation, I revealed the one secret I’d arranged at the hotel in advance.
“Just in case… I booked our rooms separately.”
“……………What?”
After a long silence, that stiff “What?” popped out. As soon as I let the word “separately” out of my mouth, a cold wind swept across my cheeks along with a sudden chill. The flowers blooming around us seemed to wither and crumble in an instant, the atmosphere turning barren.
“T-that… it was just a precaution! Just in case!”
“…….”
“I thought it would be better for us to have our own privacy and use separate rooms.”
“…….”
“A-ahahaha?”
“…….”
No matter how many reasons I gave or how much I tried to soothe her, Yeoeun’s cold, hardened expression didn't budge. She had gone cold. Much colder than when we’d been failing at everything else all day long.
