Common Sense of the Interview (2)
Of course, I didn't act rashly. It had already been several months since I'd started living in this world. There was a chance that students from the Bitch Class were banned from applying for soccer club manager, or even if that wasn't the case, something problematic could still crop up. So I made my decision carefully. Violating the 'common sense' of this world—or this school—could lead to a nasty outcome. I'm not the bold, action-oriented type to begin with, so just because I'd had a casual chat with Geon-yul, I had no plans to rush straight to the soccer club and ask if they were taking managers.
It's just a thought experiment, anyway. That's what I told myself, but deep down I was curious enough to dig around on my own. I even bought snacks for my few friends like Ye-rin and asked them about it. Could I really apply for soccer club manager? If so, what was the deadline?
But in the end, the most reliable info would come straight from someone in the soccer club. And luckily, I didn't have to barge into the sweaty locker room and corner some stranger.
"So, you decided to go for it?"
"I'm still thinking about it. I'm just gathering info."
The person I was talking to was none other than Geon-yul. The moment he told me to go out and have fun, he'd bolted straight to the soccer club like I'd predicted—and just as expected, he'd made the new roster.
"How'd you get in so easily?"
"Huh? Well, it was basically a done deal. Honestly, no one else could do it better than me anyway."
"Ugh, always bragging..."
This damn talent monster.
"Sorry, sorry. Just kidding. You're not mad, right?"
"I'm not mad."
"I remember how good you were, too."
"Good at what? You roasting me?"
"No, that's not—" He started floundering, trying to soothe me as I pouted, and I nearly burst out laughing. But I forced my lips flat and remembered the question I'd meant to ask.
"Anyway, did you look into the manager thing?"
"Oh, right—the manager position. Of course I did."
Honestly, even I had some doubts about whether a non-player like me could join as a manager. It felt kinda like settling—achieving the 'indispensable team member' role I'd missed out on in school, but as a girl, through manager duty. Still, after weighing all the side benefits, I was leaning toward applying.
I want to be part of the soccer club and win a championship.
During the year I was on the team, we never won the regional tournament. Ironically, the year after I left, Geon-yul carried us to victory. Looking back now, my presence probably didn't make that big a difference, but it had hurt back then. So yeah, part of me wanted to win as teammates with Geon-yul.
And... I'm bored. Okay, this was a really, really tiny factor. Maybe 10% of my reasoning at most—small enough to ignore. But if I had to spell it out:
I'm just a little worried Geon-yul might ditch me, get too close with someone else, and start hanging out only with the soccer guys...
Not jealousy, obviously. I just wanted to hang with my closest friend as much as possible. As his exclusive bitch, no other club members would touch me anyway. Safe hobby, right?
Anyway, nothing's set in stone! I'm still just mulling it over! I'll apply after checking everything thoroughly—no firm decisions yet!
"Turns out the manager application deadline is this weekend. They weren't recruiting since they had one already, but that senior quit, so they're adding more."
"W-wait. This weekend? Shit, no time to think..."
"You gotta decide quick."
I panicked a bit but regained my cool and asked for more details.
"Bitch Class students can apply, right?"
"Yeah, no issue there. A female senior left, so they're hiring a replacement—and she was from the Bitch Class. Heard she found an owner and got transferred out, so she quit as manager."
"Gotcha. But hey, you shouldn't use formal speech with bitches, senior or not. It's fine since we're alone now, but don't slip up outside."
"Hahaha... slip-up, slip-up."
I shot him a sharp glare before continuing.
"But my case is different from that senior's. She was a bitch without an owner, so maybe she could. I'm an exclusive bitch with one—can I even do it?"
"No problem. As long as your owner approves."
"...That's you."
Geon-yul chuckled, then struck a pompous pose, lounging back in his chair with legs crossed.
"If you want permission, kiss my foot..."
"Fuck off. Not that into it."
"Hey, hey! Kidding! Why so serious? Smile, c'mon—up with those lips."
"...Smile." He scrambled out of the chair and jammed his fingers at the corners of my downturned mouth, forcing it into an awkward grin. I fired back an anger-laced smile as requested, then stepped away.
"Okay, then I'll tell the captain."
"Nah, no need. It's an interview anyway—don't want any favoritism drama."
"You might pull something weird in the interview. As your exclusive bitch, I was gonna say I have to observe."
This guy, thinking so deeply for once? I stared in disbelief, and he grinned sheepishly under my gaze.
"Ahem, basics."
"Hmph, you just wanna watch and mess with me during the interview, admit it."
"N-no, absolutely not?!"
Strong denial means admission, as they say. Sure enough, Geon-yul averted his eyes and blushed faintly. I giggled and poked his side.
"C'mon, spill. If you know how the interview goes, tell me. You'd want me to get in, right?"
"Ugh, I said not to tell..."
"Knew it was naughty. Totally. Obvious."
"...Fine, I'll tell you."
Geon-yul stammered but spilled everything he knew about the soccer club manager selection interview—holding nothing back.
"Ugh... uwaaaah..."
And the moment he finished...
"Lemme think more..."
"I told you this much— you have to join now!"
Our roles flipped: me relaxed throughout, him flustered and panicking.
"Sigh... how'd I end up like this..."
It was a predictable conclusion anyone could see coming, but I submitted my soccer club manager application anyway. The tight deadline pressured me, and I couldn't shake the temptation to the end.
If I'm doing it, I gotta get in.
I scanned the girls sitting in chairs, fidgeting with their clothes and outfits, psyching myself up. I'd been shocked at first sight, but now I was calming down, tension easing.
Damn, there are a lot.
Way more applicants than Geon-yul or I expected. What glory did soccer club manager offer to draw this crowd? At best, backstage grunt work helping players—what made it so appealing? Feminine charm? Hopes of dating or owning soccer studs? I couldn't wrap my head around it with my lingering normal-world common sense.
Whatever.
Truth was, I wasn't worried. Thanks to Geon-yul, I had a massive edge over the others. Knowing the interviewers and format in advance was huge. Especially the 'challenges'—I'd heard about them from him and practiced solo. The interview was two weeks after applications closed, plenty of prep time.
Oh, and yeah—the challenges were lewd, naturally. I didn't ask Geon-yul for help this time, practicing alone. Remembering how I'd gotten semen-addicted from a single blowjob made me wary. Not perfect prep, but enough to breeze past these amateurs, I figured.
"I can do it. I can do it. I can do it..."
"Hm~ hm-hmm~"
Meanwhile, as I repeated my mantra to focus, cheerful humming from beside me shattered my concentration. I shot the source a side-eye and frowned.
"What? Why the sour face all of a sudden? Girl, you'll get wrinkles."
"Gotta keep humming that?"
"My way of loosening up."
"Sigh... why'd I even ask you..."
It was Geum Ye-rin, my one friend I hung with often. She'd had zero interest in soccer manager originally—didn't even know they were recruiting. But at my begging, she'd come along.
"Still, it'd be great if we both got in. Then I could snag a hot, buff alpha soccer guy with a huge dick to cuddle..."
"You do that alone! I'm an exclusive bitch!"
"You got Geon-yul or whatever for that. He's on the team anyway. Or if I date a soccer guy later, we could swap...!"
"Shut up. No swaps. Be quiet."
I could've applied solo no problem, but nerves hit, so I SOS'd Ye-rin to come with. Not usually the type to need company for this stuff—girl brain changing me? Come to think of it, girls always go to the bathroom in pairs, arms linked. Feeling the shift in these little ways.
At least having her here relaxes me.
Ye-rin hadn't considered manager till I explained, but then she perked up. Her interest? Hot, fit, hung jocks from the sports club. Period.
"Maybe you'll find an owner as manager? That Bitch Class senior who quit did."
"Pfft, no way. Just for fun. Sorry, but I'm promotion material for Female Bitch Class soon. Walking class is almost over."
"Hm, aced the exams?"
Geum Ye-rin nodded silently, flashing a V-sign. She added that maintaining grades through the semester could really bump her up.
"Line's shrinking. Our turn soon?"
"Gonna hit the bathroom."
"Me too!"
"If you go, we might lose our spots. Together's fine, but let's take turns this time."
"Waaah... Chae-a's getting so cold..."
"Be right back."
I ignored the blonde delinquent gal's fake aegyo tears and headed to the bathroom. Women's, of course.
One last practice run.
Geon-yul's intel: two interview 'challenges.' Fitting this male-superior, altered-common-sense world, they were packed with lewd norms. First up: peeing standing up. No clue how it related to manager duty—Geon-yul didn't either.
Maybe they'll explain in the interview room?
But certain it'd be first, I'd practiced in the dorm bathroom for days—standing to pee. Tough at first. Women's bodies are built for sitting; standing meant aiming the urethra like a guy. Early fails sprayed everywhere. Mopped up quick, but after repeats, the toilet reeked like me. Two weeks in, accuracy improved. Public stalls now feasible.
Spiiish...!
I lifted the seat fully, spread my legs, adjusted height, and nailed the bowl's center. Knew just how much bladder pressure kept the stream steady.
Ugh, too loud?
Then I spotted the huge flaw in standing pees—right here, now. Dorm practice with just Geon-yul and me hid it, but in public? The stream hitting water echoed massively. Higher drop from standing amplified it—like a waterfall roar.
Splash, splash, drip...
I wiped between my legs and prepped to bolt. If anyone was next door, they'd think my pee was suspiciously loud.
But as I hiked up my skirt, a noise from the adjacent stall. Embarrassing if they'd heard, but not the point.
Spiiish...!!
A stream like mine—maybe louder.
That's...?
No one else would know, but me—two weeks of practice meant I recognized it. The girl next door was peeing standing too. And this was the bathroom right before the interview room.
No way... she too...?
I swallowed hard. Someone besides me knew the 'challenges' ahead.
