The Room Salon's Allure
The alluring smile never left her face as she turned to Dae-woo, her glossy lips parting with a soft sparkle. “Oh my, Director, it’s been a while. Ho ho.”
“Yeah, I haven’t seen you around lately.”
“Yes, I’ve been quite busy and haven’t been able to come to the salon much.”
“Is that so?” Dae-woo replied, a touch of awkwardness in his voice.
She turned her body toward us, every small movement graceful and refined. “Hello, I’m Cho Ah-young. Just call me Cho Madam.” She smiled and tilted her head at a perfect forty-five-degree angle. She was different from any other madam I had ever met.
“Ah, hello,” my wife and Yoo-mi answered in awkward unison.
“Ho ho, I don’t get many chances like this either. Who are these two beautiful ladies? Your girlfriends?” Cho Madam shot Dae-woo a coquettish smile.
“Ah, well… this is my wife.”
“Oh my, really? I’m so sorry. You look so young, I never would have guessed you were his wife.” Cho Madam sprang to her feet and bowed deeply.
“Oh, it’s fine.”
“I’ve heard so much about you. The director was boasting nonstop. And now I see why. Ho ho.”
“Ah, yes.” Yoo-mi’s cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
“Ahem, and these two over here are my dear younger brother and his wife.”
“Hello. Oh my, your wife is quite the beauty. You must be very happy.”
“That’s right. Ha ha ha.” I laughed easily at Cho Madam’s polite flattery. My wife responded with a bright-eyed smile, then leaned in and whispered to me, “You’ve been here a lot, haven’t you?”
“Just for work.”
“Liar.” She pinched my thigh. She was the one who had suggested coming, yet here she was, acting jealous over some woman she didn’t even know.
Cho Madam spoke again. “So, how would you like me to set things up?”
“Just bring us some whiskey.”
“Nothing else?”
“Heh heh, what else would there be? Ahem.”
“Ho ho ho, understood.”
Dae-woo’s face turned red with embarrassment. Once Cho Madam left and the door closed, Yoo-mi and my wife both let out heavy sighs.
“Wow, that woman is something else. Her presence… she might even be stronger than you, unni.”
“Yeah… she’s elegant but also incredibly sexy. Even as a woman, I’d be drawn to her.”
“Right? I’m so jealous. Elegant and sexy… no wonder men go crazy for her.” My wife crossed her arms and shot alternating glares at Dae-woo and me. The sight was oddly adorable.
“I think you’re prettier, Yoo-ri.”
“Yoo-mi is far more elegant and beautiful.”
Dae-woo and I chuckled, and my wife pinched me again in playful protest.
A short while later, the waiter finished setting the table and left. Cho Madam returned. “Do you mind if I sit for a moment, ma’am?”
“Please do.”
Yoo-mi’s smiling face didn’t look entirely pleased. Perhaps it was the instinctive wariness toward an attractive woman sitting so close to her husband.
“Um…”
“Yes, go ahead.”
My wife addressed Cho Madam. “Actually, my sister-in-law and I came because we were curious about how men enjoy places like this.”
“I see… and what exactly—”
“So please show us everything from the beginning. In detail.”
“In detail…” Cho Madam’s brow furrowed slightly as she smiled, the expression itself strangely seductive.
“Drinking and having fun is the same everywhere, isn’t it? Right, Cho Madam?”
“That’s true, but I don’t think that’s what this beautiful lady means. She wants the details, doesn’t she?”
At Dae-woo’s sheepish remark, Cho Madam turned her curious gaze to my wife and continued. “Most of our high-class guests come here to talk business. Of course…”
My wife’s eyes sparkled with interest.
“When they’re in a good mood, they sing, play games, and so on.”
“What about the girls outside? When do they come in?”
My wife, Yoo-mi, and Cho Madam all leaned forward, fully absorbed as if discussing something monumental. Dae-woo and I could only exchange glances and smoke, unable to interrupt or leave.
“All right. Since you’re curious about how men enjoy themselves here, let’s play along exactly as they do.”
“Really?” My wife’s face lit up like a child’s. Yoo-mi’s expression remained calm, but her eyes gleamed with curiosity.
“When guests arrive, we set up the drinks—like this.”
“Yes.”
“Then they choose their partners.”
“Can they choose anyone?”
“Of course. Pick whoever you like.”
“And then?”
“Once the choice is made, you drink together, sing, and enjoy yourselves.”
“Is that all?” My wife sounded disappointed. Cho Madam winked playfully.
“Do you really think those wolfish men would be satisfied with just that? Ho ho.”
My wife and Yoo-mi both turned to look at Dae-woo and me. It was mortifying—being here with my wife was already awkward enough, but now it felt like our private indulgences were being exposed. Cho Madam burst into laughter at our discomfort.
“How do they make the choice?”
“Shall we try?”
“What?”
Cho Madam rang the bell. The manager entered, received instructions, and left. Moments later, the sound of high heels echoed down the hallway. The door opened and six beautiful young women entered, each introducing herself. Every one of them was young, stunning, and seductive.
“Now, choose whichever partner you like.”
My wife and Yoo-mi stared blankly at the lineup before turning to Dae-woo and me at Cho Madam’s words. What now…?
“Ha ha, now that you know, that’s enough, right, Yoo-ri? Cho Madam, send them all out and let’s just make some bomb shots.”
Dae-woo’s single remark cleared the tension. My wife looked faintly disappointed but soon nodded. No matter how curious she was, she couldn’t actually tell her husband to pick one of the girls.
“Yoo-jung, you stay.”
“Yes.”
Cho Madam called back one of the girls who was leaving. “Yoo-jung, you’ll have to show off your skills tonight.”
“Yes, ho ho.”
The girl named Yoo-jung skillfully prepared bomb shots. Each time she mixed a new variation, my wife cheered and even Yoo-mi looked delighted. The atmosphere felt more like a college reunion than a room salon. For a moment, I almost forgot where we were.
Every bomb shot she made, we downed in one go. My wife and Yoo-mi, caught up in the mood, drank without hesitation. In no time, two bottles of whiskey disappeared. The waiter brought two more.
Feeling the alcohol rise, I looked around. My wife had already grown close to Yoo-jung and was asking her endless questions. Yoo-mi rested her chin on her hand, listening with interest. Cho Madam kept smiling as she chatted with Dae-woo. Everyone seemed pleasantly tipsy. The room felt warm, almost steamy.
“Yoo-jung, don’t you have anything else? Something naughty?”
At my wife’s slightly raised voice, everyone’s eyes turned to Yoo-jung. She glanced at Cho Madam, who gave her a playful wink.
“Well then… I’ll just do it. I don’t know either.”
Yoo-jung began to undress. In an instant she was completely naked. Youth really was different—her slim figure contrasted with full, firm breasts, a breathtakingly curvaceous and fresh body, glowing skin, and seductive eyes. She had to be the ace of this salon.
Though my wife and Yoo-mi looked slightly startled, their gazes followed every movement of Yoo-jung’s naked body, curiosity shining in their eyes. Dae-woo and I felt too embarrassed to watch yet couldn’t leave, so we kept chain-smoking. At some point, Dae-woo had switched seats with Yoo-mi and was now sitting beside me.
“Sorry, Dae-woo. My wife’s had too much to drink.”
“No, no, it’s fine. This is fun. When else would she get to see something like this? Heh heh.”
“You think so? Women really are hard to figure out sometimes.”
“Tell me about it. I thought my wife would hate this, but she’s surprisingly into it. Heh heh.”
While Dae-woo and I whispered and smoked, the four women laughed and chatted as if holding a lively lecture. Several more bomb shots flew our way. We drank them down. My wife even made sure we finished every drop. She looked just like she did back when we were dating—bright and carefree. I found myself smiling at the sight.
Just then, Cho Madam stood up and called to us in the corner. “You two over there, stop hiding. Which one of you wants to drink this?”
“Drink what?”
“Breast shots.”
These women had lost their minds. I glanced at my wife. She was grinning at me, clearly very drunk. Yoo-mi was also looking at me, chin resting on both hands, smiling with amusement just like she had at the Japanese restaurant. Dae-woo gave Cho Madam a pitiful look. Even his expression was oddly cute.
“Cho Madam, what are you—”
“Decide quickly. There are only two men in this room. Hurry up.”
My wife and Yoo-mi exchanged glances, laughed, and backed her up.
“Don’t sneak around behind our backs—try it. I’ll forgive everything tonight.”
“That’s right. Don’t worry about us and just enjoy yourselves. We’re having fun too.”
Yoo-mi’s tongue was slightly slurred, just like my wife’s. Dae-woo looked at me and gestured toward Yoo-jung with his chin. I quietly shook my head.
“Fine. Then it would be awkward for the newcomer… Director, come here. No, Yoo-jung, you get on top. If we’re doing this, let’s do it properly, shall we?”
“Yes, sir! Ha ha ha!”
Before I knew it, my wife, Yoo-mi, and Cho Madam had formed a united front, giggling together.
