Road Complete and Fishing Frenzy
I parted ways with Moteok and refocused on the stream.
"Alright, let's wrap this up. Connect the roads. That seems right."
The shovel's effect was insane. It whittled my 1,000 or so viewers down to 600... 500... 400...
Should I have just gone fishing? A little regret crept in. Opportunities like this don't come often. No. These weren't my real viewers anyway. Trust yourself. Or... maybe not... I shook my head to snap out of it.
Digging is the way. Yeah. The server's almost over—gotta finish fast. Then I can invite people. At this rate, I won't even get invites out on the last day.
I dug back in. After over an hour of shoveling, it was neatly sorted.
"Phew... Now time to build the road."
Another hour of grind. The more I did, the more it started looking legit. As the road took shape, viewers went nuts.
I did a great job. The road was cleaner than my house. Straight shot from the cabin to the village, built with baked stone and cobble for max aesthetics.
Of course, with YouTube editing help. But with all my effort, it's basically mine. Done. Complete.
Great feedback. Stuff I'd miss solo, but together we spot it. Just in case someone falls off... safety first. Added side fences.
"Finally complete. Whaddya think?"
I hopped and skipped down the road in glee.
"..."
Seeing their honest reactions made me feel kinda bad.
"What now?"
Time to stream for the viewers...! I checked chat sentiment.
"..."
Back to streaming for me...!
Checked the tab—no one's on. Not Himaru, not Moteok... What now?
I closed my eyes.
"Not sleeping."
Slowly opening my eyes.
"Not that. Just thinking what to do next. Construction's done, feels empty. No clue what to play."
I spilled my true feelings without thinking.
Mark-teachers vs anti-Mark-teachers at war. Mark-teachers wanted endless Minecraft; anti's wanted chit-chat or other games. Mid-battle, the VTuber savior arrived.
"Ah, Moteok..."
I confirmed it was really her—the ID matched.
"Real Moteok! Hi...! Hold on...!"
Gave her manager right away.
"Mo... Moteok, manager granted!"
Moteok was hyped. Like a kid craving reactions.
Sudden debate. Moteok got salty, ranting why it's god-tier—not sus. But it just sounded more sus.
Anyway. I headed to the fishing spot.
Three folks at a square pond: one right, one left, one center.
I slid next to the center one. Serene. Dead quiet. Perfect vibe.
But.
Mass freakout. I'm comfy though. Just fish. The VTuber I locked eyes with nodded furiously—no words.
Click. Click. Rod casts. Ding. Ding. Bites. Only those sounds.
Dead silent. Pure bliss.
Fishing-teacher Moteok was pumped. I paused, bought a basic rod like she said, fished for 10 mins. Mostly F-grade fish.
Switched to hers. Big difference. All A~C grades.
"Whoa. No F's."
"Whoa, for real? Amazing."
Moteok was genuinely thrilled. Chat screamed it.
Fishing while reading chat, lucked into an SS salmon.
"Ooh, SS! Jackpot. How much? Anyone know?"
"Whoa, fishing-teacher. You're a legend. Know everything. So how much I make now?"
Inventory check—20 mins in, packed with fish.
"Where to sell? Anyone...?"
Followed directions. Fish vendor right there. Sold for 120,000 won in 10 mins. Like Moteok said, an hour'd make a mil easy. Timed my click. Ding. Click. Ding. and asked.
"Max upgrade?"
Scanning chat, spotted a gem.
I lit up.
"Only watch Sena's... Uhihihi! For real? Sub time. Watch forever. You... cool dude. 100 points. Whoa, even subbed? Legend."
Moteok tuned into Sena's stream to grind her rod enchants. Expected standard streamer reaction. Got something funnier instead.
"Sis... love you... pretty voice. Waiting every day..."
She cherry-picks chats like that, so viewers get bolder to stand out.
Watching made Moteok cringe internally, fist clenched. But Sena loving it felt... wholesome.
Fun reactions = fun stream. Moteok chatted.
Mark server off one day, so her stream tomorrow too.
"Moteok, nooo. Stream tomorrow... Euhuhu. Euhuhuhu. You're the best!! I'll power up. Eueueu. Mega Sena!! Evolved."
Too hyped? Moteok cracked a real grin—rare.
Pure joy. Being here warms the heart.
"Then for your viewers, should I go 'Raaah Sena you ate Moteok!! Slice your belly!! Raaah. Save Sena. No. Raaah.'?"
Moteok hadn't had this much fun in ages. She'd see Sena loads now.
Fished hard with Moteok's rod yesterday—over 10 mil won. Total scam, but earned legit. No spending ideas, ended stream.
My routine's simple. Wake at 11ish. Doodle art, hunger hits—eat. Stream till 1-2am, end, done.
Mark server's off today. Opens noon tomorrow—pure chit-chat till end.
"Hmm..."
Doodled like always. Drew Moteok who lent the rod—to give later. Lunch, then stream.
Viewers stabilizing. Broke cursed 40, hit 80... 100... Games drop 'em back to 40 diehards. Still progress!
Found weird thing: Chit-chat keeps chat lively. Wild topics.
Adapting—reading chat fine now.
"Jajangmyeon...!"
"Nope. O-jja. Real-deal jajangmyeon."
Always 3-min cup, first real jajang in forever. Mouth happy.
"Dinner?"
Skip dinner usually. Tiny stomach—one meal lasts. Bored tongue? Snacks. Few chips, full quick.
"Prob skip."
Chit-chat insight: Game-time trolls turn sweet.
"Maybe..."
Not hungry, but who knows. Hinting works wonders.
"What should I eat then?"
Roulette? Saw it before. 1,000 won ticket, spin, eat what lands. Ooh, fun! Delivery can't suck. Too full? Tomorrow's fine. No content anyway? This works. Viewers geniuses—insta-content.
