Idol favoritism is getting out of hand. A featured stage was enough—why make him sing the new song too? What the hell? Does the Drop The Beat Concert think it's a platform for promoting new releases? I was in the front row and got a close look. The cameras really softened his image; he looks way more intimidating in person. Like, if you mess with him, you're gonna get fucked up. Still, he's ridiculously handsome. D.I tried to hype up his looks at Drop The Beat 3, but standing next to Yoon Eden, D.I clearly paled in comparison. Guess idols are just on another level.
After D.I's "Scribble" performance, ZQ, the MC, came out and asked him to perform a new song since he was already there. D.I said it was the first live performance of "Villain" and started rapping.
Even though it was live, it sounded like he'd swallowed the studio version. His rap was really good—no slurred words, and I couldn't even tell when he was breathing. His gestures were also different from other rappers, probably because he's a dancer. Even just walking around the stage looked cool.
