Somi took a deep breath, barely managing to part her lips.
“I liked you.”
“You ‘liked’ me? Why? Why are you putting it in the past tense?”
“…….”
“Why don’t you like me anymore? That’s strange.”
The day Somi finally confessed to Kwon Hwi-young, her department senior whom she had been secretly in love with, she was prepared for it to be her last chance.
Instead of rejecting her, however, Hwi-young responded in a way she never could have expected, and Somi ended up spending the night with him.
Then, not long after, she discovered that she was pregnant.
Somi told Hwi-young that if he would just give her permission, she would raise the baby on her own.
But Hwi-young made an unexpected proposal.
“If you’re okay with it… should we get married?”
And so began their whirlwind secret marriage.
At school, they’re nothing more than awkward senior and junior with little interaction, but once they return home, they’re husband and wife sharing the same bed.
They secretly intertwine their fingers beneath the partition in the department office, pretend not to know each other as they pass in the hallway, and the moment they get home, Hwi-young pins Somi against the entryway wall and showers her with all the kisses they couldn’t share outside.
Somi’s heart flutters every single day.
Is this a dream, or is it real?
She’s actually living a newlywed life with the man she’s been secretly in love with.
