90% of the novels here it just lacks contexts from the original. 90% of the time it's fragmented from the original. It doesn't have a natural flow. I know that stories tend to over explain things but you just cut so much that it lacks clarity.
Here's an example in.
Hundred Flowers Academy was right in Xi'an.
Ten-minute walk to school.
Prime commute. Dorm life post-enrollment, of course.
Strolled leisurely, people-watching.
Forgave the unified mod pack creator a bit more.
'Appearance buff + exposure patch'.
Women in ideal outfits and looks surged in numbers.
Freshmen aiming for Hundred Flowers Academy.
Or upperclassmen returning from hometown breaks.
Game had Al illusts for minor chars.
Here is from copy pasting from novelpia to chatgpt to translate.
Because my destination—Hundred Flowers Academy—was located in this very place, Xi’an.
It was only about a 10-minute walk from my home.
Truly, it could be called the highest level of commuting convenience.
(However, once I successfully enrolled, I would naturally be residing in the dormitory.)
While walking at an unhurried pace, I quietly observed the dense flow of people around me.
At the same time, I once again felt a small amount of forgiveness toward the creator of the Ultimate Mod Pack.
‘Appearance Buff + Exposure Patch’.
It was clear at a glance—the frequency of women possessing outstanding appearances and highly revealing outfits had increased significantly.
Not merely “outstanding,” but rather approaching an “ideal” standard.
Most likely, they were either new students heading toward Hundred Flowers Academy like myself, or senior students returning from their hometown after the holiday period.
In the original game, aside from the main characters, all others were merely AI-generated illustrations.
However…
To personally witness these lively, fragrant girls conversing and laughing right before my eyes—

I second this, I’ve already reported quite a few chapters because the sentencing was awful. I don’t have the habit of rereading what I already did but they’ve all been fixed apparently. Quite unpleasant when it happens though
Yeah... I get you... some don't even bother with sentences structures making me confused... I was reading 'lightning king in cyberpunk here but it confused me so much I had to go read it from novelpia
You can report the chapters. Go to the bottom near the navigate previous / next buttons and there is a report issue button.
You can also report an entire novel from the novels main page if every chapter is like that.
Lastly, you can leave a review on the translator who is responsible for the novel.
To actually answer your question, I think some translators just use AI translation and don't proof read it. I tend to avoid reading novels from certain translators myself because it's too consistently like your example and I don't like spending all my time reporting.
