Just like the title said, how do the translators choose how much a chapter is worth ? Is it proportional to the number of words ? Or is it just up to the discretion of the translator ?
I'm asking this because I often find myself not continuing a novel because the price of a chapter is 50 coins for example. With 10$ for 1000 coins you have chapters worth 50 cents alone and sometimes there are hundreds of chapters to unlock. Even though we sometimes have sales, we still need to wait for it and there is no garanty there will even be one.
I know I look like someone asking for freebies but I just need clarification on the economic model of the website.

It depends on which side of the bed the translator woke up that way
you can ask the translator on the discord for free chapters once a week for each series, you can also ask them to put it on a schedule. you can also ask them to put a series on sale if there are a lot of paid chapters, though the choice is theirs if they will put it on sale or not.
